Been my local now for over 2 years and it's a superb pub. The owner and staff are a class act and every time I've been in I've enjoyed myself. Great little attached playpark that my little boy has enjoyed during lunch visits too. A proper community pub 👌🏻

The Newton Arms is a lovely pub with a great atmosphere. Spacious inside and a secluded play around for the kids to run about. The staff are very polite and always serve with a smile. The food on offer smelt very tasty although I personally did not eat on the day of our visit but others at the table did and enjoyed their food and also the portion size. Would highly recommend the Newton Arms and would certainly visit again.

Amazing wee family place with beer garden. Very child friendly including outdoor play section. Even has mobile charging dock and they have fitted community defibrillator. Quiz nights fantastic on Thursday. Friday nights has karaoke but still to try

Lovely family run pub. They make fab nachos plus other light lunches. There is free live entertainment on a Saturday night and (for the locals, and an optional small donation) a bus that will drop you off as near your home as possible. There is also a lounge that can be used for private functions and a beer garden with a play area for the children. Well worth a visit.

Child friendly, play park updated every year, so safe for children and lovely for parents to relax socialising with their family. Owners and car staff so accommodating and put a lot back into the community, very well thought of owners.

Great wee pub, even has a mini bus which does several local drop offs to get folk home safely and avoid taxi nonsense. Often has live music too. Always a friendly welcome.

Decent pub with reasonable prices. Can’t give 5 stars as music is far too loud. You can’t have a conversation when it’s on. Doesn’t stop it being extremely busy at weekends though

The reason for only 3 stars was because the macaroni cheese n garlic bread, the.macaroni tasted as it was out of a tin mixed with grated cheese, but my all day breakfast was lovely, plus you can take the kids and your dog aswell good pub for taking the family, only £2:80 for bottle of desperado cheapest pub I've found for that...

Great atmosphere with a good mix of ages. Owner also drives local people home, I think this has to booked. Only thing that lets the place down is the toilets.
