My mother, who grew up right across the street on Riverford Rd., always told stories of her mother having to send her to fetch her father home for supper from this wee pub, (my maternal grandfather, Papa Joe Connolly’s favorite tavern hangout, circa 1920’s-1940’s). My wife and I visited Scotland for the first time in August 2022. We met Brian, the proprietor, and several of the regulars, and had a great time visiting with them… very friendly people!
