The door staff were warm and friendly upon arrival... The bar staff where helpful and efficient, bringing drinks and breakfast quicker than expected... The breakfast itself was plentiful and well put together. I would highly recommend for service and quality. Thoroughly enjoyable...

On a Thursday afternoon the pub was dead. The guy behind the bar said that was usual for a week day afternoon. The staff were very friendly and the price of the drinks was very competitive. The other premises in Market Square were very quiet as well.

Popped in to catch a Celtic game while in town. Always a good place to stop off. Good mix of all sorts of people from families, groups and the old guys (like me) in for a quick one. Great selection at the bar, staff are friendly and the place is always clean. Only thing is that it can get quite busy, especially when there is football on so you might struggle to get a table if its food you're after.

came in for a few drinks and couldn't find a table that had been cleared, asked the barman for a cloth to clean a table and was handed a cloth and disinfectant to clean the table myself, since been sitting for an hour quite a few tables have not been cleared since we came in, people r actually having to clear the tables themselves before they can sit, disappointing as it's a good wee pub and it's the only let down

Nice little pub were we sat down to order some drinks and food. Has a large menu you can order food like tapas, burgers, pizza, steak... Also big tv screens everywhere if you would like to see football match. Nice and friendly staff as well.

Irish themed bar in the awesome Merchant Square area of Glasgow. Cool bar with tonnes of drink choices on draught and bottle. Sit inside/outside in the covered area to the rear of the bar, awesome atmosphere at night times and when there’s sport on the telebox. Dog friendly too, yabba dabba doo.

Lovely clean pub located in Merchant City. We had a sharing platter to soak up the alcohol, excellent value for money and really nice. If I ever managed to be child free in the future, I would definitely come back for lunch with the other half.

My husband and I were nervous about going out during the pandemic but our server Louise, a pretty and bubbly lass made us feel right at home. She took our drink order promptly and made sure our drinks and bellies were full. Would 100% recommend.

One of my goto pubs in Glasgow, because of the choice if ales, but on this occasion choice very much reduced. A little disappointed but understandable. Busy bar that has sport and music live. Good variety of beer and spirits. Food good value all day including breakfast and early bird offers. Setting is great and has access to cash machines within the square it's self also has limited outside seating within the Square. in summer some outside seating is available where you can smoke. I would not say this is a place if you want a seat and chat of a weekend as it's very loud.

It is a very trendy place, with wheelchair access. It was clean, music was a bit loud for us but seemed to be enjoyed by the young crowd. Staff very friendly, food looked great altho we didn't partake and they serve a mean pint of Guinness.

It's an Irish themed pub in the merchant city market place. Great food and drink options. Food is quick to appear. The place is clean and well looked after. The lack of stars is because the table service is fussy and there appears to be an obsession in cleaning up with staff leaning over the table taking anything used or empty while you are trying to eat and interact with friends. Constant interruptions. Today plates removed while I was still actually munching, and it's not the first time. You feel rushed and it is not welcoming. With about eight tables eating there was no reason to try and move patrons on.

Went here on Friday 16th to meet family to go elsewhere for dinner. Took a table facing the square to people watch. Got myself a medium pinot grigio which for £3.90 was reasonable. Inside the tables were quickly filling up so the table outside was in a nice peaceful spot. My brother and sister in law arrived and joined me. They had a pint of lager and a glass of coke. It was a nice spot to chat and watch the world go by. At 4.50pm we were asked to go inside as a birthday party was going to use the area. As there were 3 bar stools just inside the door we decided to sit there. One of the many bar staff politely explained that that area was being used as a service area (unmarked) for dirty glasses, plates etc so we had to move again but as our dinner reservation across the square was due shortly anyway we left. Was watching from restaurant across the square and didn't see any birthday bash taking place in the outside seating area on the square?

Very large and spacious pub in the merchant city area of Glasgow. A wide selection of beer and fine whisky at the bar. Massive big TV screens using projectors on the walls usually on when there's football matches. Great members of staff.Once inside you also have access to most of the merchant city bars without coming out of the main building.

Great pub in a nice location for a quick bite to eat at a good price, I've had the burgers and hot dogs there and have not been disappointed. Nice place to sit in and eat but you also have the option to sit out in the Merchant Square section which gives you a sheltered outside feeling, although this area is usually very busy and hard to sit at.

I like the interior since it has been done up, and it's a good place to watch sport as they have a plethora of TV screens, including a giant screen consisting of 9 large LED/OLED screens (better than a projector). However, it is always really busy on Friday/Saturday nights, and if you are there to watch a big football match or a rugby international, it can take ages to get served at the bar and you will not get a table unless you show up hours and hours before the game. They have a standard selection of lager, and it is quite expensive (but expected for Merchant City). I would also stay away from the food, unless maybe hungover or quite drunk already. If hungry, my advise is nip over to Babbity Bowsters nearby and get their pie of the day - superb!
