Reviews of Picture House
A. K.Good climate, tasty food (just that bread looking like with banana ☺️ ). Waited for food around 1hr. But staff very friendly and helpful. There also was fish - tasty. And one more portion of garlic bread, which rules 😋. I think because of pandemic time, there was less staff. Delay forgotten. Really recommend food.
J. S.Excellent food and drink for the prices. I did get a flat pint but one of the bartenders made a new one without me even asking him. The staff are friendly and the app is pretty good too (which in Corona times is important). Considering how rough some of the pubs are around Rutherglen, they do well at keeping things civilized.
I. B.Good portion sizes and good prices. Shame they can't wash the glasses and the cutlery properly. We had to ask for a replacement fork, and two glasses had lipstick on them.
C. P.Late lunch and first visit here. Was disappointed that they had run out of fish so went along with husband and had the haloumi. OMG, so glad I did, it was amazing ! 3 pieces in crispy batter, huge pile of hot fries and peas. They had also run out of tartare so Alana bought us over a couple of other sauces which were delicious. Alana and Jo were very friendly and have excellent customer service skills. Great value for money and we will be back.
R. W.Long time since I've been in here but glad I went great food excellently priced for food drinks ect, hated the upstairs toilet as I do in any bar but we will visit again, yes, the food was that good.
P. M.Standard pub. I was in on a Monday evening, so it was very quiet. Seems to be a good place for a pub lunch and family friendly. Lots of signs for kids meals and little toy machines, too. Had a glance at the food menu but didn't order anything, although they seemed to have lots of different deals depending on the day of the week. Even had a seniors deal, which is nice. TVs on the wall showing rugby when I was in, too.

(.We would like to thank Stella at the picture house and staff for the complimentary meals and drinks which we both enjoyed yesterday 30/05/22 ,after a bad review on our previous visit concerning our meal. We enjoyed our day a big thanks to Ala for her hospitality lovely to meet her, she has great personality. Thanks again for turning this around we will definitely be back.
