Excellent pub. Friendly staff and manager. Good selection of drinks and plenty of TVs for sports. Good set up. Smoking area is good for smokers i personally am not a fan (don't smoke) but for smokers its great idea. Toilets could do with a bit of a tidy/clean/freshen up, otherwise it would be 5 stars.

Popped in yesterday evening with 2 friends and although the place was busy, the staff were friendly and attentive. Full covid compliance was evident and there was a great atmosphere. Great pub just two minutes away from central station. Will definitely be back next time I'm in Glasgow. 😊

Was there on a Saturday night , had left a pub early due to over crowding went to this pub where their was more space , atmosphere was pleasant , the choice of beers were better and as a malt whisky man the gantry was well stocked. Like the horse shoe bar detail , and the staff were on the ball. Will be visiting again to try more of the malts , handy for trains and buses.

Such ashame the gents toilets have been left in such a bad state. A really nice old school pub. Staff covered the beer taps with cling film claiming it was to protect the taps from fruit flies which suggests it's not a clean environment. Was playing the football. I'm a football fan so good for me..

Had a wee Christmas night out here with a few colleagues from work. What a great atmosphere and great food. Staff and manager were all extremely friendly and looked after all of us. You won't be disappointed if you pop in here for food and a great night out. It is also very handy for Central train station. I am planning on returning with my family for another great night.

Rhodi Dhus is the best pub in Glasgow for a drink with pals whilst watching the football. Screens all over the place makes every seat or standing area equally as good a viewpoint. Staff are always really quick to serve even on busy nights and always do so with a smile and a bit of banter. The atmosphere in the bar is great on big occasions and it's where I always head for the big games.

Great pub, les battersby is the gaffer and a top old skool Glasgow guy. I was with the guy below when the barman dashed from the back of the bar to the front to tell a very vertically challenged woman “no kids allowed here” - was hilarious and a legendary tale we share, and keeps us coming back. Quick request, get more titos vodka in will you?

Was in on the day of Scotland v England rugby match with some mates. One mate wanted to watch footie on one of the small tv screens but was switched to rugby which annoyed my mate as he has no interest in rugby union at all.

Great selection of beer and quite a large bar counter. The atmosphere is very nice and welcoming for a pint or five. Just a stone's throw away from the train station it's a good spot for a after work drink.

Tonight I had a pint of Stella in the bar before moving downstairs and the pint of Stella downstairs was discussing and tasted metallic but the person in charge blamed the poor girl in the bar. Maybe the pipes should be cleaned. We still had a good night.

My wife and I are from the US, visiting Glasgow for the first time. Chose this place because it was close to our hotel and looked "traditional." Very pleasant surprise. Staff was super friendly and accommodating, the food was very good, the beer and drink choices above average, and the prices wayyyyy reasonable. I like this traditional style bar, its a good place to meet chat and watch sport also serves decent pub food. On the downside service can be slow at times and staff sometimes avoid eye contact in fear of being asked to serve you.

My friend and I have lunch in this great pub probably once a week. Yesterday we asked if it was possible to have half portions of the mac n cheese with chips. Our lovely waitress advised us this was no problem at all. We were quickly served with perfectly sized portions of mac n cheese, in lovely small dishes, a small portion of garlic bread and a small portions of fries, each. Just exactly as we wanted. No fuss. Tasty food. Great service. So a big thank you to the chef (Bob, or to give him his Sunday name ... Boab! )... our waitress and the manager! Please note, we were not trying to be cheapskates, just 2 ladies who talk a lot, enjoy a gow or two and who would normally leave half of a whole portion. Again well done and see you next week! Mags.

This is predominantly a sports pub. When my friends and I visit Glasgow for a day out we do on most occasions stop off here for a few drinks on way home. Only five minutes from our bus stop. Staff are very good and prices are excellent. Worth a visit.

We love Rhoderick Dhu. A comfortable relaxing atmosphere with great food. My husband had burger with chips & onion rings with a pint of Carling..the pint was only £1.50 In a deal with burger. A helpful & lovely member of staff Debbie served us and was attentive throughout. When asked if we would like tea or coffee, I asked if they do herbal teas which they didn't but very kindly offered me Camomile tea which was a member of staff's. A really nice touch and so thoughtful. Thank you! We will be back again. Really had a nice time.

Seems they have a regular crowd who don't like interlopers. For my taste too many screens showing boring sports but that is just my view..others may like this.

Went to this pub the night Man City v Liverpool and Barc v Roma were playing in the champions league so I didn't expect to find a TV showing the Cardiff v Villa game. However, after asking at the bar, they were kind enough to turn one of the TV's over so I could watch the game.

Came here for a private group event in their private function room. Quite a spacious area with big space next to the bar and a smaller space around the corner making for a quieter, cosier spot. It's a typical sports bar decked up in a traditional decor. There's nothing wrong with it but it's quite similar to other pubs. The vibe is simple, casual and cosy.

Good, tucked away Belhaven pub. City clientele, and shows the racing channels all day for the old boys. Reasonable prices, good service, good pub menu, and the strangest little courtyard out the back squeezed between the tall buildings, like a space someone forgot!

An ok sports bar in town. I used to venue downstairs for a function but that bar doesn't accept card payments so tab needed to be set up upstairs. I set a £200 limit but when I came to settle at the end of the evening they had already charged my card £200 and gave me the balance in cash. I explained that this was a company spend so I just want to pay the tab and get a VAT receipt but no joy.

Twice a year my colleague whom I used to work with now retired we meet up up for a catch up a couple drinks and something to eat, as we like this place very homely although it is office workers who go in there couples go in also, it is nice to have a chat where you can hear yourself speak and hear it can pick up for business after 4pm onwards, the meals are good also nice staff.
