Reviews of Steps Bar
S. A.
Blink and you'll miss the entrance. But here you'll have a unique and authentic Glasgow city pub experience. The Guiness is well kept. The jukebox is limitless in terms of choice. There is an unusual stained glass window of a steamship (Titanic?)in the snug. The Gents are palacial and about the same footprint as the bar. Why its not more legendary I don't know...
B. R.
Brilliant wee pub. Nice friendly staff and customers. We'll go back next time we're in Glasgow!!!
L. S.
Great wee pub. Ladies toilets were immaculate 👌
T. C.
It was nice. Staff friendly.. Good for a chat rather than the other noisy bars around.

Great little pub. One of Glasgow's many hidden gems in the middle of the city. Great atmosphere and good beer, what more do you want?
P.
I enjoyed my 2nd visit to this cosy pub. It has WiFi + polite + tidy bar staff.
Shall definitely visit again + take more pic's as it's an interesting little bar.

A hidden gem. One of Glasgow's great pubs.

In need of a little love and attention. Ladies toilet really not a treat but functional. Big bonus is 35ml measures. Frequented by every walk of life.

Sat outside in the sunshine with very reasonably priced drinks, bought inside at the bar and served professionally by the staff

Wonderful old Glasgow bar. A ready welcome from friendly staff. An eclectic clientele and, vitally, it serves quarter gills. Beautiful art deco interior based on a bar within the Queen Mary. A snug with a lovely stained glass window of the old ship and ( no longer working) bells to summon service. I'd imagine that this might be the last snug in Glasgow. Absolutely my favourite bar from a long list of great pubs. If visiting the city, and looking for that real Glasgow pub experience - pop into the Steps Bar.

If you want a pint in a proper Glasgow pub, then look no further that The Steps.

First visit, just what you would expect from a well established Glasgow pup.

Well, my mates had guinness and both had to return the pints as it was vile. Barmaid agreed but could not explain why. Other beers were OK. Difficult to recommend on this occasion.

Warm and cosy friendly staff the Snug is a great wee Snug -- enjoyed the visit -- if you want a Wee Snug where you can have conversation with friends without being drowned out with 'ambience' music the Duke Box or Rock and Roll this is the Place !

A lovely old boozer in Glasgow. I don't think it's changed much in decades. The decor is fantastic. A real trip back in time. I thoroughly recommend.

An old school pub with staff who know what they're doing. Nothing fancy & not a place to go if you have pretensions, but very friendly and affordable if you simply want a pint!
G. L.
Good old fashioned bar in a great part of town. Good atmosphere. Toilet could do with a makeover though
P.
Pop in for a n ice T. Was. Not a bad pint at a reasonable price. Compare to the other 2 bars we're overcharging.
