I've been to the Ally Arms a few time before lockdown with friends. We LOVE it. Once the restrictions in Glasgow are eased, we'll be back in. It'll take us a few visits for us to try all the wonderful bottled beer. Keep up the good work.

It's a great bar. Very mixed crowd. Friendly atmosphere and staff. Great selection of craft and German beer. 30 different gins and a wide selection of other spirits. Plenty of TVs and the staff will try their best to accommodate whatever you'd like to watch.

Ordinary pub, except for big fridges across the back wall with a plethora of obscure and wonderful ice cold beers, lagers and ciders. Allows you to peruse, read the labels and properly explore the options. Novel idea, adds to the friendly atmosphere and I would thoroughly recommend it. The Ally Arms (as the locals call it) is stuck in a weird limbo between old man's boozer and hipster bar. The last few years has seen the appearance of beer fridges at the rear of the bar which stock one of the widest ranges of beers in Glasgow - as well as a huge stock of gins and rums behind the bar - while the old guard are still catered for with Tennents and other Glaswegian favourites on tap. There's always a mix of people in here which - along with the "dog friendly" policy and well natured staff - makes it a welcoming place
