Alpen lodge is a great place to go when you are in Glasgow, we usually start of in the alpen then work our way around a few others then sometimes we come back and spend some more time there staff are very friendly and helpful the customers are great aswell so, if you've not been in the alpen before then i suggest you pop in the next time you are in Glasgow, you'll be sure of a warm welcome, enjoy 🍻🍸🍹🥂🍷🍺

This place is a total cattle market. Overage males trying to punch well above there weight. Music and atmosphere good although trying to get served at the bar is like facing a rugby scrum. Also wear clothes that you don't mind getting wet as some of the patrons cannot hold onto their drinks with spilling large amounts on you. If you like a laugh don't take yourself too seriously and are prepared to rough it a bit you'll be fine and enjoy yourself. If you like sophistication and a chilled mood swerve this place.

Small but perfectly formed. Downstairs on a saturday afternoon is legendary. Live music with singers encouraged. If your rubbish your off! Mixed age group. Tiny spaces for dancing, lots of singing and great atmosphere. Gets very busy a place not to be missed.

Lovely atmosphere upstairs in this place. The jukebox is always full of great, individual content, full of songs you haven't heard in years. Downstairs is amazing too. A dance floor and live acts most nights it's open adding to the great atmosphere also.

One of the oldest pubs in the city centre, the decor is nice, staff are very friendly and it has a GREAT jukebox! Prices are reasonable for a central pub. Great atmosphere. Wee worth a visit.

It's a great place to go everyone is friendly great singers and the keyboard player is out standing and the female comper funny and amazing singer you must be there for 2 30 if you want a seat it gets really busy within minutes of opening its down stairs on a Saturday you must give it a try x

If your looking for somewhere in Glasgow to have a pint and you want to feel what a true wee Glasweigan bar feels like then come over to the Alpen Lodge. Staff are so friendly and welcoming and are always up for a laugh. The punters are friendly and will always give you some good banter. They have a juke box so you can play what ever songs you like.

This is a nice little pub, bit small up the stairs but much better downstairs, with live music and friendly staff. The only downside to this pub is sadly they dont stock any alcohol free and when they might get the random one in its becks blue (worst one ever!). Also the gents toilet should have more warnings about the lack of head room after my boyfriend badly banged his head on the ceiling, just as you enter. But like i said good atmosphere and a cosy pub just a shane about the AF drinks.

went in for one pint last night with some friends, the place was jumping, nothing much to look at from outside but a great atmosphere inside, live singing, standing room only if you could find a square foot to stand, even the stairs coming down were packed,trying to get out was hard. Would visit again just to have 2nd look around and taste the place again as it was a short visit and didnt have a proper look around
