Stalwart on Byers Rd,no change on inside.Not cheapest pub,dog friendly.Good good middling pub .Half a Monk is better than no Monk at all?Opposite new Thai restaurant,coconut milk gives me the "Boak".

What's not to like about the Aragon. Great location on Byres Rd, an original gem with great staff. There's a warmth to the atmosphere in here. Go back almost fifty years with this pub.

The Aragon is the quintessential pub to visit. While it has a great local feel, it is welcoming to everyone. It has reasonably priced drinks and is ideally located in the West end and close to the University of Glasgow campus. It's a must visit location in the West end and a great place to spend a casual afternoon or evening. Also, very dog friendly. Definitely go visit.

I visited this pub twice in 2017 whe I was up from London on holiday. Great service behind the bar, a friendly hello does make a difference. I was in there on a Sunday and it had a few TV screens to watch the fitbaw. I'll be returning here in a few weeks time when I'm back hame as my hotel is nearby Great atmosphere too. 😊 👍

This lovely wee pub has become my partner and I's local since we moved her, staff are so friendly and the pub is cosy, cheap and vibrant. One night it's the pub quiz another night there's someone playing the harp in a folk orchestral group. Love it!

I've known this fine establishment all my adult life as it has always had at least a couple of real ales on draft with a nice tawny 4.2% Christmas brew my pick this time. Hasn't changed much over the years and remains a cosy and welcoming relic of a Glasgow now fast disappearing. Nice to combine a trip here with a visit to Tennents and, wallet permitting, a treat at the Ubiquitous Chip Brasserie. Great afternoon out. Aye.
