Fantastic first visit. Great food, superb staff, amazing selection of beers.

Not friendly staff. Came in and asked for a drinks menu, the bartender looked left and right quickly and said nope. Confused because the last time I was here they had a large drinks menu. I like the look of the remodel as new owners. Just don't love when you don't feel welcome from the time you walk in.

Came in with the lads to watch the champions league final and had a right good night. A great new venue and the geezer Jonny behind the bar was on it like a rock star. Ps the Guinness was mighty fine 😀

Fantastic pub! Love the new design inside and the food was great - definitely worth the price. Popped in on a Friday night when they had the live music on and the atmosphere was great. Will be back next Thursday for the quiz night!

We can’t fault the staff or the service. All super attentive and welcoming. A really friendly local and there is always a big welcome for the dogs! The treat jar is never empty! Enjoyable pub quiz too!

Belhaven Best on top form. Very friendly staff. A big boozer but was very busy when I was last in. Good place to watch football and they can show at least two games with sound and no interference. Will be back soon.

To be fair last time I was there the strak pie was great bug it's so high and miss. Time before there was lumps of cornflour in the gravy. So rating it as a 3 as sometimes it's good others it's terrible. As a green king fhey should look at wintergills steak pie. Theirs is amazing!!!

Recently opened so popped in. Expected it to be much pricier considering the decor and quality of service & products. Really glad to have a new bar near me that’s laid back enough to enjoy a pint and a book without being bothered by pounding loud music or rowdy clientele like some others in the area! Spoke briefly to the management team, Rachel & Reece and they were very informant on what to expect from them and the bar over the next few months. Can definitely see myself popping in here a couple times a week to chill, for sure.

Really friendly and attentive staff. New decor is really nice. toilets are spotlessly clean and the toilet seats are intact (for the first time in years!) Super dog friendly and the music's been pretty good too 😊 drinks are a wee bit on the pricey side (might want to reassess if they're to lure the pre club crowd on a saturday night). Not tried the food but looks very similar to their sister bar across the road (might be better with pizza?). All in, a really nice pub and hope it sticks around.

Food reheated,had to send mine back but got a free dink so the staff are fab,you say the food is fresh but it isn't,my husband ordered pasta,I ordered bangers and mash and it arrived in 10 min,it's reheats,mash potatoes were in lumps,hard and stuck together.
