Good spoons pub, you know what you are getting. Food was good, nice and hot, served quickly even though they were busy. Bar staff friendly and quick at serving. Toilets nice and clean. Its a nice welcoming pub with good food at good prices.

This is your average Wetherspoons, nothing fancy but good selection of drink and cheap food. At the edge of the town centre so lots of parking available. Set over two floors, but good luck trying to find the stairs up and down!

Didn't know it was a Wetherspoons when we walked in, exhausted after travelling on foot across 36 roundabouts. But the entryway was exciting, the drinks were dead cheap and they provided some tabletop propaganda which was an eye opening and only mildly disturbing experience. Decent vibes for a big pub.

A comfortable and welcoming drinking venue in a rather bland seventies shopping centre. In fact it brightens up that end of the centre with a splash of colour and an inexpensive welcome. The pub is on two levels and there is plenty of room to find a cosy corner, great value with nice staff, I enjoyed my visit..

The Carrickstone Park nearby and it is a very short walk to see a forgotten treasure. Carrickstone is a housing estate in Cumbernauld that sits atop a hill, but what many may not be aware of is where it gets its name from. Behind the houses are two objects that you’d never expect to find here, a Roman altar (The Carrick Stone) and a trig point. The Roman altar has a small fence around it but has been here for almost two thousand years. Legend has it that Robert the Bruce planted his standard in the hole in it, before The Battle of Bannockburn. The stone takes its name from him, the ‘Earl of Carrick', continue a short distance along the path to find a trig point, which must have been erected long before the houses appeared in the early 1990s. A nice little attraction to visit if you are in the area.

A new and nicely decorated Wetherspoon. As it is in an existing shopping mall the building lacks character but there is still a pleasant ambience typical of wetherspoon pubs. Service is good and staff professional and pleasant. Food is served quickly and is good quality. Loses one star for shopping mall negative but other than that it is recommended.

I am sorry to say I was disappointed with the food. I ordered the curry and when it came the poppadoms were swimming in oil and had to be returned. There was no Mango chutney. The staff must have been trained by Boris Johnson as all they did was apologize,saying sorry many times. Not good enough Weatherspoons.

I love their macaroni cheese, but get frustrated when they keep removing it from menu. They are very reasonably priced for food and drinks. The good thing is, you don't need to book a table and they are in a good location with parking.

A very nice visit food and drink brought in good time despite being busy. Supervisor was even coming round the tables checking if things were in order whilst he was clearing tables. Would have had 5 stars had our table not been vandalised with graffiti. Definitely worth a visit if your in town.

Food and drink at great prices. The young girl that served me was extremely pleasant and helpful. Cumbernauld really needs this sort of establishment to keep locals visiting and to help entice further villages to visit. Had to knock a star off as the food my wife and I received was a bit cold, wasn't worth pestering the pleasant girl as she was trying to do a hundred different things by herself plus we were really hungry!

Food was lovely, and drinks included in prices of some meals is a bonus. Noticed a brand new refill yourself coffee machine in the corner...thats always a bonus!..only one tho. So i envisage queues when its up and running. Staff poured grease from the meal onto my daughters top, and even though she was told..she is still oblivious. Not very attentive. Cutlery was unclean and had to be sent back,...when we finally got it. Meals from the same order werent brought out together....its just the little things....

No longer do steak it was changed to pizza and they refuse to leave the top on bottle of wine so you can't take any left over wine home with you really annoying when your the only one drinking wine so forcing you to finish the bottle or leave a half bottle. Makes you wonder if its so they can sell the leftover wine to people who only want a glass???

Visited for breakfast. Great price. 2 breakfasts and 2 refillable tea or coffee for under a tenner. Toast (was lovely), fried egg, beans, bacon, tattie scone, black pudding (was less than a centimetre thick) and sausage. Value for money. Staff were attentive and friendly.

Was there Friday 5 30.place was busy but served fairly quickly .food not bad reasonable value. Condiment carriers could be checked a bit more often as some items missing from ours and had to ask at nearby table. Be aware I ordered a bottle of wine and asked for stopper in case we didn't finish it and was refused .server said it was against licensing law.

Good value food and pleasant service. Expect the usual silent atmosphere that you get at every Wetherspoons. Some nice decor features throughout the establishment. The pub is on 2 levels with the upstairs probably the best bit if you're having food.

There is basically nothing wrong with this pub but like many more nowadays it is sadly lacking in atmosphere. Having said that, the food was ok and drinks prices and offers were reasonable. The seating area is quite large and table service is available. It also has the advantage of having its entrance inside the shopping mall, so under cover. I will be back.

Went on steak night and me and my wife enjoyed them. I was quite surprised as I've eaten at other Wotherspoon's before and had overcooked steaks. table had ketchup and salt over it and like other Wotherspoon's its run by kids and students. Was very good value for money so you get what you pay for.

Typical Weatherspoons pub inside the shopping centre in Cumbernauld , with all the usual Weatherspoons features. They are good for all beers including real ales and their meals are definitely value for money , the menu being eponymous throughout the chain but it's good, tasty and reasonably fast. This bar was uncrowded so service was fine.
