Plenty of parking. Outdoor spaces looked great, but not for December! Interior nicely decorated for festive season. Excellent value seniors menu. Very lengthy wait for starters though. When we eventually asked about it - transpired there had been a mix up with a big party’s orders. Staff very apologetic, and otherwise very friendly and efficient. Other courses were served timeously, and were tasty.

There were 4 of us. Ordered the 5 sharing platters which were amazing and great sizes, very tasty indeed. We then followed with all our main courses, Balmoral burgers, Gammon steak and Hunters Chicken (the big one). All were brilliant and 4 drinks. £75 for all of it, well worth the money, food tastes really good and the portion sizes were huge. Great pub grub and the staff were really nice

Lovely pub really nice staff and excellent knowledge of spirits. I don't drink gin but my better half does. When I got to the bar and asked which gin would the bar tender recommend I get a really personalised set of suggestions based on brands I said she'd already tried and enjoyed.

Decided to go for lunch with my partner, mother in law and newborn today. We Sat in a middle table beside bar. My baby decided she wanted fed instantly on arrival. As im breastfeeding my partner has a job of holding up a blanket for privacy until we are latched on. Steph the GM came over and asked if we would like more privacy and pointed to a booth away from the crowd we were amongst. She gave us a private section that was not getting used. It was perfect and hidden away. Very grateful she saw our struggle as it really helped. Oh, and the food was fast and lovely too, thanks ☺️

Delightful visit! ☆☆☆☆☆ Popped in here for a quick bite to eat and was very impressed. The warm welcome recieved from the girl behind the bar last Tuesday night & the prompt service from Russell was definitely a highlight of my visit. The food order was taken efficiently, as was our drinks too. Food was well presented and delicious. We will be back again soon, and will be recommending to family & friends too...

Visited this pub last week on our trip to Scotland. Always come here. The manager Nicola is so lovely and welcoming we keep coming back. The Mac and cheese is fantastic and nice to go to a pub and tell it’s made fresh. My daughter loves the staff here. It’s amazing for kids and so cheap to eat out. Look forward to returning again next trip up from Newcastle.

Staff were really accommodating. My friends and I wanted a woowoo cocktail which wasn't on the menu but the staff were happy to adapt and create our drink for us. They also changed our table for us on request as the stools were a bit high up so we got moved to the booth which was really nice. Would definitely come back, chicken wings were delicious!

My favourite place to catch up with colleagues. They have a fantastic covered outside area plus I can take my dogs with me. They show all major sports events and have a fantastic range of wines and lagers. My go to dish has to be the chicken tacos.... yummy. The staff are always helpful and the place has such a cool laidback vibe. Best pub in EK!

I was in today with my wife for Sunday roast and it didn't disappoint! We booked an area for small family party. Everything ready when we arrived as arranged. Service at the bar was very quick and atmosphere in lounge was good. There were 4 of us all from different households so we couldn't share one table. One of our group was a wheelchair user that couldn't transfer out of his chair. Staff went out their way to accommodate us with tables close to each other and suitable for our pal in the wheelie chair. Nice interior, it's clear there has been a bit of money spent on the place. Personally the food leaves a bit to be desired, had fajitas which was miles too hot so ate what chicken pieces i could and left the rest. We were planning to have a dessert but it too long to get served so we asked for the bill and left. Shame really.

Typical Bellhaven family-local chain pub. Nicely decorated. Lots of seating and staff are really friendly. Good drinks selection. Food is lovely, especially the fajitas! All reasonably priced too!

Food was great. Only thing was we were frozen as they kept leaving outside door open to serve food outside. I asked does the door need to stay open. Guy behind bar with tattoos on both arms said"Yes we're serving outside". When I said we were frozen. His answer was"It's roasting in here". His attitude has put us off going there. One of my friends closed the door. We were just starting to get warm again. When female with blond hair serving us. Opened the door again. Both had stinking attitudes. It's not as if we're getting the food for nothing. Today there was 5 of us. Some days there can be 8 or 9 of us. I'm sure the owner doesn't want to lose that business. Hey ho. Disappointed!!

Great service. Very nice place. But what in the name of heaven are they doing with Christmas trees and decorations up at the beginning of September? I found it depressing and so won't be back until much nearer the season. This is nuts and not appropriate. Bad bad management decision.

First visit since all this covid-19 madness began and was very impressed with the safety precautions that were in place.Booked a table, track and trace in operation, masks worn at all times except when sitting at your table,table service,one way system,plenty hand sanitizers etc. Very well organized and policed by staff.Food was great and so was the beer! Only started coming to the Gardenhall Inn a few weeks ago and it’s now our new local. Great, service, staff are very attentive, food is served quickly, is always fresh, excellent quality and serve a great selection of drinks. We usually go on a Saturday around 6 and take our Son who is 10 and he is made very welcome and can stay in until 9pm. Have recommended to friends and family who have young kids as it’s a great family atmosphere. A hidden gem in East Kilbride.

I cannot praise this place enough we were a party of 14 for a special birthday yesterday and not only did they set the tables but put out the balloons and decorations. The service was great and everyone loved the food that they got even the two little ones. The staff were very friendly and could not do enough for us. Would highly recommend the Gardenhall Inn.

Hogmanay meal was terrible. Three of us couldn't eat the steak pie as it was so salty. The mushrooms were also like rubber. However, the band were fantastic and it turned out a good night. Certainly not worth the money we paid for it. We did complain when the waitress asked if everything was OK. No one came near to speak to us, hence the reason I am now writing a review.

Not a bad pub, we were there for a 50th. I had the fish and chips (fish was enormous), chips fine, peas a bit dry, fish tasted great. Staff were very pleasant.

The Gardenhall Inn is one of East Kilbride's classier pubs and the best place to spend a lazy Sunday. By pub standards the food is great as well as well priced. The waiters are always impeccable in their service and really polite. I guess they are obviously trained this way but it makes so much difference. I recommend the Cheeseburger and BBQ sauce with added bacon and onion rings!
