Unexpected find. Didn't even know it was there, it was our 29th Wedding Aniversary so my wife surprised me with lunch. What can I say? The premises has a bar area, small dinning area at the back and a large function suit. The restaurant didn't take long to fill up and the function suit was occupied for a birthday. The two waiters were very welcoming and took us to a table. The menu offer 2 for £12 or a more substantial offering we settled for the offer, but ordered cheese garlic bread and onion rings. The food was superb, piping hot and the side portion were enormous. One of best meals I've had.

Took the family along today for early evening dinner. Such a delight, from the food to the staff. King scallops, steak, lasagne, meatball bake and scampi was an absolute delight and was demolished by all five of us, just. Where we had room to put the banoffee pie, cheesecake and chocolate fudge cake afterwards is anyone's guess 😁. Special thanks to Corrina, you're a star!! Oh, and Graeme for running such a great place!

Lovely pub! Fantastic service, nice interior, and the food was lovely. Honestly some of the best customer service I've ever had in a pub. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We ordered a couple of burgers and they were delicious. Lovely stop if you're walking the Clyde canal. Will definitely be back!

Nice place to go for a drink. Usually busy enough to have a nice atmosphere but not so busy you find it hard to get served. There is also a raised section in the bar where you can sit for something to eat. If you don't fancy sitting in the bar area they have an extension on the side where you can also dine. This part is made mostly of glass allowing you a bright area for eating and to see the picturesque view of the surrounding canal and wooded area. The beer is good with a large selection of draught or bottled drinks. The food is even better, having a good selection of food on the menu and a smaller sized meal menu for those who do not wish a full meal. They have a kids menu too making The Glen Lusset a great choice for a family to visit for an enjoyable meal. Alongside the canal they have a lovely beer garden for the hotter summer days and the staff are always happy to help. Wheelchair accessible entrance and ramp inside, disabled toilets and baby changing facilities all add to the family friendly vibe. Great place for all.

The food was good. I had the chilli chicken bites which were delicious. Wasn't the only one in our party who thought so. My dad had the black pudding fritters and loved them. He didn't like his burger so much, tasty but dry. I agreed with my lime and chilli burger, tasty but on the dry side. Everyone else enjoyed their main and the puddings were also devoured. Lovely pub, staff were ok. The guy that served us was the best, very friendly and attentive. All in all a good night's dining 👍

Nice pub/restaurant in Old Kilpatrick. Was there after attending funeral in Clydebank. Large bar area, good sized dining area, gents toilets very clean and very efficient attentive staff. Cannot comment on the food as I did not have a meal, but I got the feeling that this place would not let you down.

My Wife and I went here for a few drinks as we hadn't been out for a while. We were meeting some friends and the night was going well until we were told that they were closing an hour early as it was a quiet night. Staff friendly and meal ok. My main concern was no member of staff was wearing a mask. As the staff were mostly young I assumed that they would not have been vaccinated. We were also taken to a table in conservatory with no social distancing. We refused and asked for another table.This was given but too close. First came here because they sponsor my local rugby team, I came back to try the food and I will be back again because it is a nice place and the food is excellent. Food wise, there is nothing you can't find in lots of places but they do it very well. The staff are friendly and helpful and if you like battered fish, this is quite possibly the best I have ever eaten.

It was a short but lovely walk especially the fairy trail along the woods and all the surprises on the trees. Great for a day out and to walk the dog with some lovely views. Highly recommended and can come out one of the many walkways on to the erskine bridge to if you fancy a walk over it to enjoy the views. If you do this you can go down to erskine beach and boden Boo Woods from the bridge to though it is a walk but worth it. The small beach directly under the bridge is beautiful my new favourite happy place.

1st time visiting for something to eat & have to say the food was delicious. I had the enchilada & my partner had a burger, all cooked perfectly & presented beautifully. Staff were wearing masks or face shields, very friendly & helpful. Tables were well spaced out & had dividers between most of them. One way system in operation throughout premises. Food service was a little bit slow, otherwise would be 5 stars but was worth the wait. Would defo go back.

Amazing food, incredibly friendly staff and dog friendly (Belle loved all of the fuss and attention!) The Tennessee chicken was seriously lush, as was the cheesy garlic bread. The only downside was the incredibly loud group of rather merry ladies on the table next to us (we probably should have anticipated this on a Saturday night to be fair), which almost put us off staying but the food and service was well worth it. Definitely recommend!

This was a necessary visit for a post funeral purvey. The pub is at Old Kilpatrick right underneath Erskine Bridge. The fair was standard, sausage rolls, asstd.Sandwiches and cakes. All were of very high quality and most enjoyable. Tea and coffee were also on tap served by nice friendly staff. We had a lovely private suite giving privacy which was much appreciated on such an occasion The venue has a comfortable, rustic feel and I would imagine the standard dinner menu to be very good Well worth a return journey at some point.
