Our go-to place to eat with kids with allergies. Staff are always friendly and helpful. The food is always of a decent standard and served promptly. Perfect for when eating out with kids!

Staff were amazing! But the food wasn’t great, passable if your maybe on the drinks but for my burger it wasn’t great. This could be down to it being busy. Will definitely visit again for another meal to See if it was just that

Weatherspoons, you say? Well, we like it. The staff are friendly. The beer is good and the food is always right. Maybe other units in the chain don't live up to expectations for some, but this one gets it right. This is what they had in kind.

We both visited this old police station recently situated near the canal side of Kirkintilloch, we found the staff to be pleasant and attentive, the decor was of a police station theme, on the downside the toilets were upstairs but obviously the disabled toilets 🚻 were on ground floor it also has a fair sized beer garden for the sunnier days.

Newly renovated and extended, the Kirky Puffer can now offer a log fire and beer garden. Ideal for a quick pint or an all night bev session. Its chilled, it's relaxed, you can order food and it's well located on the main street. 15 minute drive from Glasgow makes it easy to get into the city centre and if you want to get a train your not too far from lenzie. There are disabled toilets on the ground floor aswell as wheel chair access to the side of the building. There is plenty of food and drink to chooses.

It's been years since we are here and there were quite a few changes, a lot more space inside and now a beer garden. Still up to the Wetherspoons quality standards both in food and staff, great. Well worth a visit 👍 Mid October we were able to sit in the beer garden it was lovely. One suggestion regarding the doors to beer garden, please make them easier to open, with both hands full they do make life difficult.

Popped in 2 days ago after a quick tour of the charity shops. Place is next to the canal and main car park. Busy as with most Spoons but the place is huge so we found a quiet corner. Had the fish and chips plus classic burger. Both nice but the beer was even better! I was delighted to see Theakston's Old Peculier on tap so I had that while my wife had the Green Devil IPA which had a lovely aroma of lychees. We even came back for coffee after a stroll along the canal. Wondered what the building had been before and discovered later it had been a police station!

@gusmack1 on Instagram Great pub, nice and cheap with an outside area which after the pubs were allowed open after lockdown was a welcomed treat. Although there's no outside heating. We opted for the 3 plates for a tenner deal and got 30 chicken wings. Happy days.

Took my Grandda out here tonight for a quick bite to eat and cannot praise your team highly enough. Drinks were served quickly following order on the app, and the standard of food served was excellent. Staff were very helpful when my Grandda required use of the disabled toilet, and very courteous throughout. Thank you guys, will definitely be back with him.

We come alot here very good service. busy wee place at times. food possibly the best have tried from a wetherspoons cant fault it and staff are amazing. On one occasion the toilet was let's say splattered apon and was not pleasant to look at or see but main bar area and seating area was clean of course cleaners may not have got to toilet yet but with regular toilet check would then mean no one would need to see(or smell) remnants of a dinner gone wrong lol.but loved it here.

First time I've been here. Great selection of beers and wine. Also serves good bar food. All food and drink at excellent prices. Large glass of wine and a half pint of beer for £4.75. Same drink in Rose Street Edinburgh cost me £10.20!!! Like all Wetherspoons pubs I've visited is spacious and no music so you can have a conversation with someone. Will certainly visit again.

Nicely revamped. Food same as before. Dangerous oversized fire so kids beware. Staff nice despite being treated like slaves by management being kept between two and five hours, yes five, after shift end to ‘clean up’ -till 5 am. Pretty poor. So tip generously.

Seems to be under staffed at busy times . Yesterday no Thatcher gold ,asked for a glass of chardonnay they had run out .don't think the open kitchen is a good thing ,as you can hear and see the manager berating the kitchen staff . Will still go in but they need to improve. My skinny burger came with a side salad which was willted and brown .I have thrown out better ..

Had breakfast here with my big sister. we were heading to the airport & flying out to Prague. Breakfast was tip top had poached eggs on a muffin with salmon & hollandaise sauce. Very very nice. The only reason I didn't give it the 5 * was that it had gone a bit cold but lovely . ☺

Recently refurbished with a beer garden this is your usual wetherspoons affair full of the usual kirkie faithfull. The beer garden is quite good in that it is split into two, a smoking and non smoking area. The menu now has pizzas which are actually OK starting at £5:50 with a free softdrink. This was a lunch time visit, no idea what happens at night in here though...

Throught out the COVID the staff from the Puffer had tried their best to keep tables clean but i think they were understaffed and many tables and chairs were not cleaned before new customers taken the tables, also with signs saying not to move furniture many customers were not adhering to this and staff were over welmed..
