Reviews of The LAB

Great wee pub and hidden down a back street it is never swarmed but always busy. They do a great pint of Guinness and their signature test-tubes are worth a go. Good for a night out, but in my mind will always be somewhere to sneak off for a pint during a much dreaded shopping trip (a haven)

Great city centre bar with a courtyard available to sit in too. Good mix of age groups and not over run with the young team! Atmosphere is always buzzing and the staff are always really friendly

When everywhere is packed you can quite often find a bit of calm in the Lab. Solid choice of beers on draught and a small outside space. Only con is it doesn’t get any real sunshine as it’s tucked down the alley

I’ve been coming to the Lab since I was 18. Still one of the best. Great service and great selection of beers on tap.

The Lab is quite difficult to find tucked away down a lane off Argyll Street in Glasgow. A fairly small and basic pub catering to what looked to be quite a loyal clientèle. A basic non pretentious pub with outside seating and fast service. £8 for 2 pints of Budweisser beer, so not the dearest.

The blue lagoon in Glasgow. Deep fried pizza and chips. The most calorific thing I've ever enconted. Maybe I'll die ?
I posted this on accident and don't know how to remove it. I'm sure the lab dishes up better grub than this.

Cool no nonsense bar just off of Buchanan St in the City Centre.
Small outside terrace with 4 tables for the smokers.
Popular with students for the ‘Test Tube Shots’ which look a total waste of money my when you see what goes into them.
Great selection of draught beers and the food looks decent too.

Been going there for years always a friendly welcoming atmosphere recommended

Great little bar very close to shops in city centre. Pity kitchen is now closed so its bar nibbles only.

A Glasgow Institution? Too much? Maybe. Take a break from the shops, enjoy the buzz, grab a beer and a bite. If you can find it, of course.
