Great little pub. Cosy lovely decor. Pet friendly which is a big bonus. I had the haddock and my hubby had the scampie it was delishious. It is a local cosy friendly pub and I would highly recommend. You pay a visit.

Came here twice in the week we stayed here, our dog Suzi loves the bartender with him giving her treats, would recommend to anybody wanting a drink or food. We will be visiting again and staying on the island the halloumi are amazing.

Best place in Millport for a drink, whether it's a quiet one or a session. Live music, quizzes and a great selection of wine, beer, gin, whisky.... Excellent food including 5 * steak, seafood and tapas theme nights.

Went into the Newton today first visit wish I had used the Newton before the steak pie was absolutely amazing and the service was wonderful and its dog friendly Sam was so welcoming she brought water and biscuits for poppy who was delighted with it thanks Sam you made yourself a doggie friend will definitely be back keep up the good work

Best pub on the island. Great staff, couldn’t be friendlier! Very dog friendly, the barman gave Jax water and treats both times we were in. Pub was cosy, clean and had a great atmosphere. Will definitely be going back and recommend for food and drink.

We've just spent the weekend in Millport and 2 nights in this bar, the bar staff were excellent both nights. The second night one even danced with us and his mum!! ☺ The 2 nights entertainment was great, we sang and danced all night long. Superb. Please go along if in Millport you'll love it.

This is a good place but feel they were a bit unfriendly towards us, maybe as we came from Glasgow. Got the feeling they didn't really want our service as not very welcoming to visitors.

Friendly and welcoming staff, a great big Lounge/family room with kids entertainment during the holidays and kids are allowed till 10pm, the front bar is dog friendly, the food is excellent and very reasonably priced (healthy options are available too which is also important for me). The front bar also has a separate room with a pool table - which is getting to be a rarity nowadays - and TV. They put on discos, karaoke, a variety of live entertainment, steak nights, tapas nights and more at weekends. Its really anything and everything you need and want in a Bar/Lounge.

Arrived on the Island very hungry and headed straight to the Newton. We were shown to a seat and registered (Covid requirements). Staff were very attentitive helpful and the food was delicious. Would recommend to anyone visiting Millport. 5 stars definitely!!

Nice little bar on main (only) road in Millport. Traditional Public Bar at front, Lounge Bar at back. Quiet when we visited public bar - very nice. They run childrens' parties in lounge in summer afternnoons - with "entertainer"; I understand why they do this - clearly a good draw for Dads & Mums to have a pint while child is entertained, but, for me, this is an inapropriate use of a pub lounge.
