The staff are always very friendly and helpful. They have an app for ordering food/drinks too which is handy if you have little kids with you. The kids meal deal is great value for money and the "build your own sundae" is a winner with them too! Portion sizes are decent - you'll definitely leave feeling full!

Had a lovely meal in the Old Smiddy last night from the new menu. The staff are great, as always (shout out to Jason & Martin 😁). Best pub in Glasgow. Im very lucky to have it as my local. Staff are wonderful, very friendly and helpful. Very approachable. Food is fantastic value and of higher than normal "pub food" quality. Genuinely a fantastic place to go. Also, they have added more TV screens for live sports. And the best thing is that the extra screen's are not in your face. Just a wonderful pub to be in

This is a football pub - four large screens mean every seat can watch TV. But if you go on a night with no big match it's a noisy, cheerful pub, with good value pub grub, and friendly service. Maybe not a 'travel to' location, but if you've just walked the Linn Park, then it's great for a drink and something to eat. It feels pleasantly local, but is welcoming.

a lovely old building but totally spoilt by the internals and menu. there are 7 TV's in the bat/lounge, who ever needs that many and Wednesday lunchtime each was on showing a variety of channels including old football games! to what end? The menu is the usual boring selection found in any brewery own pub. something like the Old Smiddy should have a more discerning menu that reflects the building
