k. p.Came here to meet all my friends for my 30th for a complete piss up, and I got what I came for. I had certain expectations which were met and in hindsight went above and beyond. We had a decent spread of finger food put out and a large table to accommodate all my friends. Everyone got served and had no issues. As more drink flowed we did get slightly more rowdy but not anti-social by any means, we were left to our own devices. The staff were great and accomdating even when I fell asleep on the table at 9pm.
S. D.Great atmosphere, plays music but not too loud so you can still chat, big plus! Great pizza and cocktails deals both of which were delicious. Staff friendly and quick service. There was live music there when we went 2 guys playin guitar and singing they were brilliant. Overall can't fault it, nice casual place to eat, drink and listen to music.
A. W.Bread + Butter, an odd name for a pub and they've hidden the place quite well, it's at the bottom of a small lane off Argyll Street in Glasgow. A lot of cheery music and football on the telly, so best of both worlds. They have a sort of carvery for food and it seemed inexpensive, 2 pints of Heineken for £10 however seemed a bit on the steep side. Also had outdoor seating area.
S. D.Great spot for cheap eats! Staff accommodated our Scout group of 18, without notice. Food was fresh and servings large. 6.50 for a meal! The location is down a side alley, just off the street.

The bar itself is nice - quite tidy, good range of seating and enough space.
The range of drinks available is good, including a decent cocktail list and seasonal slushes to try. The staff were friendly and service was quick.
N. K.Took my mum here for a couple of cocktails. It's a little bit hard to find - it's down an alley just off Buchanan Street - but otherwise the place is really nice. Lovely cocktails and decent looking food. Definitely would recommend booking a table in advance as it was really busy, but this was at 4:30 on a Friday afternoon so definitely expected!

R. M.I like bread and butter. It was the place of my first date with my now husband so it holds very good memories for me. The inddor/outdoor smoking area, reasonably priced drinks and overall friendly atmosphere are what helped it achieve 4 stars. However, they seem to be permanently understaffed. For a venue which champions its cocktails, therefore each order taking twice as long to fulfill, you'd expect them to take this into account when planning a rota. But instead you get 2 (maybe 3) bar people all of whom take an order then make that order resulting in a queue forming and no one serving. Last friday this resulted in a queue 10 deep at the bar. Having said that, it's a very nice place, if you're willing to wait.
R. D.It was a good price and the service was quick for being a city centre hot spot. Only complaint is a large party had booked tables and then sat at the sofas meaning they took away a large number of seats from others. Overall a great night in the outdoor area =)

It's up a lane just off Buchanan St. It's a really raw but cool vibe about the place the industrial feel of the building and fittings and the staff were great with a excellent drinks list and a canteen in the bar 🤔. Which serves up good pub grub at decent enough prices. Would recommend this place for relaxed catch up with friends.

K. P.If you want to eat here don't...I should have stayed at work and joined the canteen queue, it would have been better. Arrived at lunchtime and everything was dried up...nothing homemade all mass produced, could have made better myself and I can't /won't cook. Their only saving grace...cocktails half price!!

M.Good atmosphere, big screen for sports, good music, pizza was edible, only down side was having sat at a table for a couple of hours a server came by and slapped a reserved sign down and told us we had 15 mins to move. Seemed to be every table was reserved so 8 of us left and spent our money else where.
S. A.Being a wheelchair user I had to use the ramp. Not welcoming! But if you get past the ramp, it's actually a great pub. Lovely friendly atmosphere and pleasant welcoming staff. One to be repeated. Thanks for a great afternoon.
G. M.Good atmosphere. Staff friendly. Pizza was good. Cocktails were tasty but not very alcoholic. Still worth a visit. Don't be put off by the the lane you need to go in to get to the place.
s. c.The lane that you walk up to the restruant would have normally put me of it is dark and a bit daunting. However we did go into the restruant which was dark, the staff very friendly, music for me was perfect. Why so my televisions? The pizza was one of the best I have had. The house wine not great I have never left a bottle half full anywhere I have been. Would go back.

R. Y.Loved the chef that did the 12-3 lunch menu, it was my first time there and first time in the UK and he did an excellent job explaining things to me, food was excellent will definitely be visiting again if I ever get the chance. If I could give ten stars I would!
S. W.THe food is always amazing and fresh in here. Never had a bad meal. The bar staff are always really friendly and chatty. And once i saw they did Rose Wine Slushies, well that was me totally won over.

N. K.Nice surroundings, decent price on booze and, I'm told but can't corroborate, good food. Popular with students and has plenty of seating inside and out (including a pseudo beer garden that tends to be for smoking more than anything). Only downside is speakers that, depending on where you're sitting, will drown out any hopes of conversation.

L. K.Cheap and cheerful with amazing service! I bought a bottle of wine that wasn't to my taste. When I told the bar staff, I was given a taste of the other wines available and given a bottle of wine straight away, no questions asked. I couldn't have asked for more!
