Fun pub, we where visiting Gloucester only for one night and the Cross keys pub drew us in with its great music, ska and northern soul, played some banging tunes, so if you like your music loud and your pub a bit rough and ready, meant in the nicest way, then this is where you need to be

Another great little bar in the centre of Gloucester, tucked down a side street that announces itself to the world with pumping music for an 'ahem' older generation. Northern soul, disco, and 80s rnb rocks the house down here with a really nice vibe at the weekend! Very friendly hosts and a great mix of people from youth to 'danced to the original' veterans. Great place to have a nice pint and an old skoool dance. Loved it!

A quirky gem of a pub situated down an alley. Run by a warm and welcoming lady, Sue. A must place for any Rock or Blues fan. Frequent live bands or awesome tunes by the resident DJ every weekend or the up-to-date jukebox during the week. Guest ales every month as well as the usual suspects. Only negative is that the pub is cash only, so make sure you have plenty.

This is a great little pub just off one of the main streets, Southgate Street. We went there on a Thursday and it was snowing heavily outside, we were the only ones there. It has live bands and the landlady was very forthcoming with stories about the many resident ghosts that this 600 year old pub is famous for

what a night. quality acts. who travelled from Bridgend and Bristol as well the Gloucester local. Everyone was on top fun. best night. it should be a 5 but we need an audience to give this night what a deserves. I'm biased because I'm one of the organisers but tonight was very special. It's a proper pub, in the old fashioned sense. A very friendly landlady but the pub looks tired. Perhaps it's location just off of Southgate Street means that it gets overlooked when compared with more prominent neighbours.
