Lovely staff and great atmosphere, also bargain prices. Basically it's like a spoons without the food and with a more welcoming friendly feel. Beautiful beer garden at the back and some nice decor. However the DJ was barely at his booth using a premixed compilation of pop songs on free laptop software. When I wanted to make a song request I waited a long time for him to return from the bar with his pint, to then be told "it's already on the list" and it didn't actually play for the 2 hours we waited. If the owners want a house DJ please let me know, I could do a better job myself just from what my professional boyfriend has taught me! Bit disappointed with that but all in all got drunk, made some friends and had fun for a reasonable price.

Without doubt this is the best worst pub I've ever been to! From the people killing the karaoke or the poor sound system to the sticky floors. However the staff were awesome and cheap drinks so as out of towners and working all day cheap drinks was what we needed. Nobody bothered us, left to drink.

Enjoyed a few drinks in here on Saturday night. It's much better now they've got a dj in to play music. Pints were very cheap at 2 for £4.10. Didn't have to wait long at the bar and found seats and a table easily. Toilets are nice and clean as they should be and the smoking area outside has patio heaters so it's still nice to sit outside even when it's cold. Overall I can't fault the place

I can say a lot about the doctors, the bar staff are absolutely brilliant and very good with there service. The managers are very kind and respectful but they can also have a laugh with the locals which makes you feel welcome. They also have karaoke nights on which are a good laugh. Over all, very chuffed

Great prices for lager @ £2.05 for a pint of fosters, we had 4 pints (3 fosters & 1 strongbow) works out £3.56 cheaper than weatherspoons at the Quay, and no kids what more do you want.
