We had a large party of 20 people for a leaving function. I had booked the table prior and it was all ready when we arrived. Ella, Des and Millie really looked after us, making sure drinks and food were brought out swiftly. Really enjoyable evening, thanks

Not been in for a couple of years. Met the new landlord and enjoyed the recent new look of the refurb. The governor offered me flights of the 4 bitters, I tried & enjoyed all. Then my family ate. I had the bream fish with baby new potatoes. Others had fish & chips, also lasagne. It was all good & reasonable value.

Lovely Sunday lunch, everything was lovely and it is well worth paying extra for the cauliflower cheese and pigs in blankets, although you can share the pigs in blankets between 2 as they are a very generous portion. The waiting staff were also great, helpful and polite. The 5 of us were very pleased and will definitely return.

A lively pub, a 1st time visit, food was good. Had the sweet chilli noodles and added a chicken breast for an extra £2, which was lovely. My husband had the mushroom and bacon carbonara and added a chicken breast also. The only criticism on his was there could have been a bit more sauce as it was slightly dry. Service was good. Will definitely go back again.

As it is a stones throw from the house, I tend to pop in there now and again. Generally alcohol selection is very good value and so is the food - reasonably priced and decent enough quality for an Ember Inns pub. Cleanliness is OK. It's pretty busy most days so decent enough atmosphere.

Upgraded from 4 to 5 star. A vibrant pub, even on weekdays. The card payment system was having trouble on this particular night, but the bar staff remained friendly and calm. Good quality meals are served here. Great for a family get-together or a pint or 3 with your mates whilst watching live sport. If rugby and football, for example, are on at the same time they'll show it on multiple screens (you may have to ask). Overall, The Teddy (as locally known) serves Longlevens extremely well and livens up a quiet part of Gloucester suitable for the local demographic and travellers alike.

Nice last minute find while in the area. Rang up 45 mins before needing a table and they were very accommodating. Food was nice, inexpensive and didn't have to wait very long. Good selection of beers, just a shame I couldn't try them as driving.

Pleasant and comfortable surroundings. The barmaid/waitress was super, but the food let it down. I had nacho starter (couldn't eat too chewy) and fish and chips which was rather greasy. However, my friend had mushrooms followed by chicken and sweet potato fries, which she said was delicious, so maybe I was just unlucky!

We stopped for a quick bite to eat on our way down to Cornwall. We had a great experience. I had Hunters Chicken which was delicious, and my husband had the mixed grill, which he said was equally as delicious. The staff were all lovely and helpful. A perfect start to our Honeymoon.

Having experienced lunch and dinner hours, there is nothing wrong to say about it. Waiting times for food are reasonable and never exceeded the "where is my food?" time. Meat temperatures are always spot on but garnish sometimes are cold or undercooked (garden peas). Not concerned about it as I am not a fan of them but been told by wife. Overall good experience again and definitely will be coming back as they are miles better than Harvester which they belong to the same main company.

This used to be my local. Every time I go back it's different. They want to be current and do clean well. there are alot of pillars and walls so plenty of Nooks but it does compromise the atmosphere. If there is a big group of you it will be tricky. Nice for a few mates getting together. Food is ok but wouldn't go for anything special. Beer is average. Wish it would focus on being a nice drinkers pub again.

We visit the Teddy regularly and enjoy the friendly atmosphere and quizzes. The bar staff are always helpful and there's usually a good range of cask beers. Can't recommend the Gem tho at the moment it's been so unreliable :(

I was very disappointed with the fish and chips. The batter was very hard and the fish was almost non existent. The desert was good, I had the chocolate chip s'mores which was delicious. Over the years I have eaten there a lot of times, this was the first time I have been disappointed.

Order lamb cofters when they came out they said there was no mint sauce.would we like any other sauce. Should have said when we ordered would have changed . The girl working behind bar was hung over kept saying she didn't want to be working . Food was ok but had to clear our table ourselves and put it on another table . And pudding took 35min to come out .only 2 people had pudding .

A Great Family Sunday Lunch I Called in with the family for Sunday Lunch last week, I only recently learnt that children of all ages are allowed in the Dining Area at any time of the week. A great range of cask ale on including the standard stuff like Timothy Taylors Landlord, Butcombe at a pretty good £2.60 a pint. CAMARRA where there when we visited and i have to say they scored very highly and justifiably to , it went down a treat with the Roast Beef and horseradish. A good healthy children's menu was available with mini roasts on offer for the kids. All round good pub, good food, good staff and a good pint!
