Decent beers accompanied by some great pork scratchings.
It’s a bit of a walk out the centre but we’ll worth it.
Great little beer garden as well.

Love this pub. Such a great offering of beers, ales and ciders. Beer festival happening 9th-11th June. Come along.

Great beer garden, and awesome selection of beers. What more do you want?

Fantastic range of real ales, craft beers and ciders on tap, with plenty more in bottle and can. Friendly staff and a good mix of customers, where everyone seems to get on and enjoy themselves. Everything a good pub should be.

Great real ale pub a few minutes from city centre and Kingsholm. Far enough away from main drag to be free of shoppers.
Great selection of bears and ciders.
As you would expect on a Rugby match day it was packed.
Bigger than you think as there is a back courtyard.

Travelled from Worcester to meet son living in Bristol halfway. Opened the door, what a delight; you feel comfortable from that point on. Excellent beers and ciders, very friendly staff. We could get used to the balsamic vinegar pickled eggs in time, I'm sure!

Had a lovely pint sat in the sunny beer garden. Warm welcome and a great selection of beers on offer. Will visit again.

The beer range is heavy on the Wye Valley side, due to it being their pub, and it's really really good. You'll find they've a large selection and a few guests on cask and freshly rotating daily. There are 6 draught keg lines too with stronger imperial stouts and IPAs as well as hundreds of canned and bottled beers.
Check them out on Untappd (they're a verified venue) for a full live beer list.
Also look out for the seasonal (fantastic) festivals with fifty or so beers on (throughout the weekend)!
CAMRA Gloucester city pub and cider pub of the year a lot of years on the bounce. County pub of the year too. Oh and South West Pub of the year now, that's top 16 in the country!
No food, barring the crisps and superb picked eggs, Mike concentrates on the very well kept beer. Drink it!

Gloucestershire and South West pub of the Year, great pub with a lively atmosphere. Lovely garden area and most importantly great beers 🍻
