It's a lovely place. The staff were great. My meal Crayfish with Chilli and Garlic Linguine was superb, I recommend it, but the rump steak my husband had was tough.
We sat in the bar as we had 2 dogs, but it was loud and the swearing was choice.
Not many pubs to choose from around that area seems the best out of the bunch.

Friendly staff and good quality food.. Just poor value for money. The meal in the photo was from the specials board. It was a 10oz ribeye steak meal costing £24.95.. Hardly a meal really. I was still hungry afterwards but wasn't willing to pay for a dessert at £7.95 each. I didn't see the dessert portions, but after mains, I didn't want any further disappointment.

Delicious food and great service, some great serving staff, a really lovely experience with fantastic views..

Friendly although slow service. Disappointing meals Vegetables seemed reheated from previous day with floppy carrots, faded red cabbage and stringy greens. Pork loin steak had a half inch of half cooked fat. Pity because pub has good ambience and lovely views over countryside.

Had a lovely lunch today. Gardens and view were lovely. Staff all very friendly and efficient despite the heat! Lunch was extremely tasty, particularly my goats cheese and beetroot quiche . Thankyou

Great pub. Good range of beers. Although I did not eat there on this occasion I have had some excellent meals at this pub.

Amazing food and service from the Royal Exchange. Visited here with my brother's family and we received very attentive service. Portion size is very generous and even the children's meals are almost adult sized. Would definitely recommend if you are visiting this area.
