We enjoyed very good food. There was plenty of food. The service was very friendly and cared for the different needs of our party.

My wife and I were recommended to have a meal here and we were not disappointed. We had the Thursday steak special which was absolutely delicious. We could not go without having a dessert and albeit there wasn't everything available on the menu, we enjoyed what we had. All in all we had an excellent lunch.

A party of 12 arrived not long before the kitchen was closing. Claire welcomed us and set a lovely table for us. All evening she served our table, always with a smile and couldn’t have been more attentive. The food was really good and Would definitely recommend this place.

Good quality food and drink but portions can be hit and miss with no consistency to size. 30% discount is very helpful. Lovely beer garden which our little ones enjoy and a large car park.

Food was good and the wait was very good BUT price of soft drinks of a tap was shocking £3 for a 14oz glass (so not even a pint) with large chunks of ice so even less so made sure NO ICE in the refills! so a evening treat with the kids and grandparents turned out expensive. Would go again BUT jug of tap water or no drinks next time

Staff were great and very helpful such a shame as other areas let it down , food was ok , side salad that came with mains was very poor 2 half slices of cucumber and old salad leaves. The toilets were so dirty ! Maybe have more regular staff checks as every cubicle was bad. If we were not meeting family and friends it would have been enough to make us not stay and eat.

Not usually one to write reviews but after our second visit here I felt obligated. The surf and turf was the best I’ve possibly ever had, the steak was so tender and even the pea were amazing. Landlord is a lovely bloke too, well done Brittany, bloody lush! Xx

Thank you so much to the staff on Sunday lunchtime 4th September made my parents feel so welcomed. My dad can’t eat solid food and they were great letting my mum bring his special food in with them. Very nice friendly pub with good value meals and a good choice of drinks. Lots of seating inside and outside, and there's a play area outside if you have kids. (Be nice to have some of the Westons ciders in future, but all the same the Inch's one was very nice! 👍)

What a find! We booked for Saturday evening at 6pm, the place was very busy as expected for an unusually warm March evening! But I can not fault anything! The staff we fabulous and attentive even though it was clear they were very busy and working their socks off! It was clean and tidy and we felt very welcome, We placed our order with our server Andrew who was friendly and welcoming and food and drink arrived promptly! The food was incredible! My steak was perfectly cooked and I’m pretty fussy! I can’t pick one fault! Well done to all the kitchen team! Days like this always test a premises and I was very very impressed! Will definitely be returning! ☺️

We love going there sitting outside with our dog. Beyond the car park there's a lovely welcoming high garden which I love. The garden is lovely. Lovely little play area for the children. You can sit under a canopy in the shade, sit on the patio or in the garden which has trees and flowers it's a lovely area to sit in and plenty of seating. The lawn is well kept. The staff are all lovely friendly and very accommodating. They make a fuss of our dog so he feels welcomed too. Inside looks lovely too. With summer approaching we will be regular visitors.

I visited for a meal with 5 friends I hadn't seen for over 6 years. From the very start we were made to feel very welcome and were shown our table that had been reserved for us. One of the party was in a wheelchair and they were allocated an area with ample room to move about and the server showed a lot of empathy towards them, which was really great. We all ordered drinks and our food. The food came to us in great time and was lovely and hot. I personally had the rump steak which had ordered to be cooked medium rare. When I cut into the aforementioned steak, it was like cutting through butter. The Chef had cooked it to Perfection, so a massive thanks to him. Everyone in the party expressed how lovely the food was and how well they had been looked after by all of the staff. Absolutely could not fault the night.

Kim, Clare, Andrew and Alex made our experience great. We turned up 30 minutes before end of service with a huge crowd of girls after a football match and they had taken all of our orders and fed us within half an hour. Amazing!

The buy one get one free is a good deal. I've visited here quite regularly over the years. We went for Sunday lunch a few weekends ago. It was poor. The portion size wasn't good for £18 roast beef meal! They have really reduced it in my opinion. I had a side of Cauliflower cheese that was basically boiled and then placed in a small baking dish with cheese sprinkled on it. Awful. Not creamy like you'd expect. The staff are always brilliant and friendly. Great range of drinks as usual

Easy to book a table on the website. Very quickly recieved the conformation email too. Staff on site were welcoming and accommodating. The staff were lovely - helpful, friendly and welcoming. I understand maybe having such special main meal offers and such variety too means maybe that food is more 'basic' and pre-prepared. I had the tikka masala and the main part was fine ie the meat, sauce and rice but the Naan was inedible as it was very rubbery in a few spots and the rest like cardboard. The extra chips we ordered were chewy - sorry but that is the only way to describe them. I have to be honest and say I didn't leave the restaurant thinking I'd enjoyed the food but more like 'what a pity and don't know whether I will want to go again in spite of nice staff and comfortable surroundings '.

A really nice pub - a group of us came here on Friday night as we were staying in the house across the road. Everyone enjoyed the food (I had the Mexican chicken) and the environment was friendly. The assistant manager, Andrew, who served us and was a really lovely guy! Would definitely go back if in the area again.

The pub is newly decorated. Creating a lovely atmosphere. They dont allow reservations and as it is always busy you can wait up to an hour for a table. Which is a bit of a shame. The food is good. They do buy one get one free which is always good. Overall a good expirence other than the waiting around for ages

Nice to be offered choice of 3 places to sit - not always possible as can be busy. Very warm inside. Our waitress was very friendly, but over the top in answering "my lovely" after every question/ request. Very good menu selection plus the specials board - maybe a bit too much choice! Very limited salad selection if you only want a life bite lunch. I choose the garlic & rosemary lamb steak & requested new potatoes & salad instead of skin in fries, half a grilled tomato & onion rings - I had a nice lamb steak no garlic or rosemary flavouring though, New potatoes were nice came with 2 pats of butter . Grilled tomato bearly grilled quite raw, didn't cut core of tomato out, no salad just handful up of rocket in the middle of my plate - asked for my salad - received a tiny dish with what i guess is a garnish - asked for some salad cream or mayo - no could only do salad dressing which was nice. All in all ok, but not the nicest of meals I have had there. Was offered desserts menu, but nothing was overly appealling, all very sweet sounding. Came away disappointed

There was a much bigger vege and vegan selection with a separate no meat menu, much better than I had seen in any of our local pubs. Quite impressed and it wasn't expensive with their 2 for 1 offer. The burger was really good, the chips were chunky (I am not keen on those skinny fries) but the vegan coleslaw could have been better, so I knocked off a star. It's not far out from Hereford City centre, another good place to get vege and vegan food.

Having attended an appointment in Hereford we (4 adults) wanted some simple food before we headed back to Shropshire. As the CoT was next to our appointment we chose this place. Staff were very polite and friendly on arrival and we were offered a few tables to choose from. Between us, we had Ham and Eggs, Breaded Plaice, a burger and gammon. Everyone seemed to enjoy the food although the pineapple on my gammon seemed to have been soaked in vinegar, at least that's what it tasted like. Nevertheless, it didn't detract from the meal. All said and done the food was quite good and if we're ever back in the area again I'd give it another go.

It's an ok pub on the outskirts of Hereford town. Right by the secondary school The Bishop of Hereford's Bluecoat School. The food there is nice and good service and a good place to bring kids.
