Family friendly - we visit often. Sion knows his stuff about beer, and has acknowledged the non beer drinkers with some wonderful local gins, and a selection of wine and whisky. Daisy is obviously the star of the show, we are so lucky to have this gem near to us.

One of my favourite places in Hereford. Very relaxed atmosphere, the whole team are both friendly and passionate, and the range of beers and ciders is extensive and ever-evolving. They put on some great tastings too!

Wonderful craft beer bar run by a charming young lad who really knows his stuff. I never knew there was so much to be learned about beer - did you know some people like it sour?! The service was superb and the prices were very reasonable for such a high quality product. This fella will go a long way in the beer world, James Watt could probably learnt a thing or two from this guy!

Review is for an online shop order. Great experience overall. I put in the order given the big selection of German beers, but they have plenty of other goodies as well, especially cider. The shipping charge is well above most shops I have seen, but given they have numerous beers I haven't seen elsewhere I didn't mind the premium - and I made it a large order to 'make it count.' (And they are a small business so I appreciate they can't absorb a lot of costs.) The beers arrived quickly and were well packed. I will certainly order from them again once they have more nice German beers to try!

Popped in here whilst visiting parents for the holidays. As a keen London based amateur brewer and avid beer fan, this is an amazing place, especially considering it's in Hereford. The owners are welcoming and knowledgeable, and the selection of beer is outstanding. A must visit for anyone who likes craft beer.

Massive selection of beers from some of the best breweries in the UK and beyond. I've picked up all sorts in here, from limited release Cloudwaters to craft-brewed German white beers. Very reasonably priced compared to similar bottle shops I've been to. Jonny's beer knowledge is second to none, and all of his recommendations have been spot on.

Great to see that we will be able to pop in for a drink soon at the beer house. Important - this isn't a pub, it's a bar that stocks speciality beers that you won't find probably anywhere else. Before covid I loved popping in for a beer or two and sampling and trying all the different varieties and strengths you can get. I look forward to being able to do that again as it really is a something I've missed. Can't wait to see what amazing beers that Jonny has got in and if there's any on tap !

I highly recommend the Hereford beer house not just by going in and having a beer or two which you can like you do in the hectic pubs around Hereford this place is different SPECIALl!! Just connecting with the owner who knows a lot about certain beers 🍻 to what you require and like puts you in the right direction towards what you enjoy about having a nice special beer whether it's in the beer house it's self or taking a few bottles or cans home to enjoy with friends they are there to make you feel whichever way you want to enjoy your special drink I myself have enjoyed loads of different tasting beers and can't fault what they give to offer they are friendly and welcoming people try it you won't be disappointed!! 👍

I was with a group of beer lovers and we were very impressed. However, it could do with being a tad more comfortable. Why are all tap houses so spartan?

An impressive range of beers, to drink in and to take home. The guys behind the bar were really helpful and knowledgeable, as well as welcoming. It lacked some energy at the time we went in, maybe a lull, but felt like the kind of place that's often filled with a variety of really interesting people. I'll recommend it to friends and I'll definitely go again.

This is a great shop. With the added benefit that you can have a drink while you're there. 2-300 beers and ciders, with ever rotating stock. The knowledge and enthusiasm is awesome. They'll even sell you a fabulous cheese board to go with your beer. Unsure what to have? You can buy a flight of tasters, There's no wide screen TV. No premier league football. No happy hour priced Stella. Head down Commercial Street for that. There is a warm welcome, an incredible range of drinks and nothing else in town comes close.

The only thing I would like to see to make an improvement (in my opinion) is a less spartan decor, otherwise this is a five star (there is no 4.5 star option) bar.

Great selection of bottled and canned beers (most of which you can't get anywhere else in Hereford) at great prices, available to drink in for a small corkage fee, as well as fantastic local and European beers on tap in a scaled down pub environment. Also they have cider I guess.

They always keep the draught variable with many different styles to choose from. A great place to discover new breweries.

Small bar and off-licence set in what appears to be former retail premises. Rustic furniture and fixed benches attached to the walls offer perches for one to enjoy the beery wares on offer. Usually six taps sell the draught products, these are buoyed by an array of foreign and British bottled and canned beers. Local ciders and perries always on sale. Recommended.
