C. P.Really like it here, specially when social anxiety is playing up. It’s warm, cosy, and just has such a calm feeling. The food is really great too! The staff are always so polite and friendly, would honestly recommend it to anyone who asks
T. J.Decent carvery, although I timed it wrong and all the veg were low- a sign of a popular place-. Lemonade was out of a bottle and suffered from a slight lack of fizziness and if I had known that before I might have had ice as it wasn't even remotely chilled. Whilst it was nothing spectacular to rate it 4-5 stars but if you are in the area and fancy a carvery for a good price, with a clean, friendly and family orientated place you can't go wrong by going here.
O. S.Service and staff were great, I loved the menu, the way the food was priced in column £6 £8 £10 etc. When the food came out, it was quick and of a great standard,. This is value for money. I should add, dog friendly pub as well.
B.Popped in on the off chance to see if any spaces for 2 for sunday lunch,it was quite busy but the staff did accommodate us and found us a table, we had carvery roast and it was really tasty with a good selection of meats and veg,really good value for the money and can highly recommend...

T. B.Staff are super friendly, the beer is good (although not the best selection as only 1 ale was on) the food is excellent value and very good quality for the super prices. Sure the place is a little run down and the kids playground is in need of attention but this place has a charm with a friendly welcoming atmosphere. Easy parking and its wheelchair friendly.
I would return when passing through and needed a swift one or some food, and take this over one of the chain pubs.

R. W.Normally wouldn't complain about a visit to the Wye Inn as it's a nice atmosphere and good value for money. However on today's visit me and the party I was with (9 people so expected slight delays) waited well over an hour for service some members of the group were advised half an hour which would have been fine but to wait over an hour in what definitely was not the pub at its busiest was definitely disappointing. The front of house staff were helpful and we will go back but not as quickly as we maybe normally would.
Food as normal however was good and value for money was as mentioned great. Wait times however were unacceptable on today's visit.

Was a pleasure to use as a meeting place and I will continue to use it as such.
The overall atmosphere has improved from what it used to be like but could do with decorative bits and bobs here and there, after all it is a "country" pub and it lacks its own identity, looks very plain, sterile and underwhelming from the point of view of typical pub caricature.

T. P.The staff very kindly hosted a breakfast buffet for us for our Christmas work breakfast. Plenty of hot food, freshly cooked, lots of it, and some pastries and juices. Good all you can eat breakfast. Definitely better than the big alternative option in Hereford.
t.Love it as always however on a lovely sunny day I am not sure why parents sitting outside don't encourage their children to play and scream outside instead of inside where it would be nice to have a quiet meal. Service is great as always. Food is very worth the money.

K. S.Was having a nice family meal until it got to the end. Was told after eating our main meals that the puddings that we’d ordered at the very beginning were unavailable so we could have ice cream or a lolly, which we didn’t actually want but no other alternatives than that offered. Don’t put someone’s order through and explain it afterwards. Or perhaps put them to one side so they are not sold to someone else. Then, whilst still eating the pudding we were asked to vacate our table as someone else needed it. If you’re going to set time limits then perhaps add more time for larger parties or make sure it’s the food is cooked quicker so we can actually have more time to enjoy and digest it. If things were actually communicated perhaps we wouldn’t have minded as much and left as happy customers.

D. o.Really love coming here as its the only place bar wetherspoons that you can get a choice of meals and drinks for under £10. Unlike Wetherspoons though, you can actually have a good chat with the staff. Its a very welcoming pub. Child friendly. I do agree that the outside area needs a re vamp but all in good time. My favourite meal has to be the £8 combo. Its HUGE! it comes on 2 plates!! it has curly fries, cheese sticks, chicken wings, deep filled potato skins, wedges, spring rolls, breaded mushrooms, onion rings, cant remember what else its so big! Id say its enough for 3 people to share. Someone below said about sticky menus but when i'm there in the evening I always see them being cleaned so its probably a just a messy customer before hand. Ive been coming to eat at the Wye for the last 6 months as its just around the corner .I'm yet to have a bad word to say about any of it. Keep up the good work guys.
