Jade & Callum make delicious pizzas which are filling and you can have them to take away.
Always service with a smile and very welcoming.
You arrive as strangers but leave as friends.
L. F.Standard value pub grub. Never disappoints in relation to quality, price and range. Perfect options for kids. Decent range of drinks. When we want pub food it's always our go to. Staff our lovely, and we were served by Tom today who was really polite and the food came out quick! Plenty of space for tables of 4+ and room for buggies/changing.
T. T.Food presentation and quality is fantastic. The lack of food options on the menu is one of the main reasons stopping me from giving it a 5 star review. Decor could do with a really good shake up. Overall great food, decent place.
s. c.Took a little time to find out which was our table as there was only 1 member of staff in evidence on arrival and she was extremely busy serving customers at the bar. However, we were then told our table number and was able go decide what to eat from the menu. Food didn't take to long to arrive and it was piping hot. Cooked as requested and thoroughly enjoyed.

The food was lovely and the staff did everything to make our visit enjoyable. Special thanks to Sophie and Mel who provided excellent service to make our day an enjoyable experience.
I. K.We went for Sunday lunch, service was first class from walking in the door to leaving. The meal was enjoyed by all. Just one little niggle no horseradish, and I am a horseradish fiend. But it did not spoil our visit. Will definitely be visiting again.

S. C.We have just had one of the tastiest pub meals we've ever had. My friend had the surf and turf and I had hunters chicken. Both were cooked to perfection, cant believe we haven't found this place before. Absolutely delish...we'll certainly be back .

Seems like a good boozer. Ordered the steak medium rare but came out rare, not the end of the world but the only “negative” thing worth mentioning.
M. W.When I arrived me and my partner were warmly welcomed by the team on shift. Paddy and Rosie was very helpful and made me feel welcome, had food within 20 mins of ordering, very nice and hot. After they left Jade and Charlotte were just as helpful. Can not fault the place, thank you we will be back.

M. H.We recently booked in for lunch on the 27th May 2021 upon arrival we did the track and trace and was taken to our table that was reserved for us. We was given menus to look at while the lady was seeing to a walk in wake. We could see that they was busy so we decided to order and pay via the code on the table. I have to say that it is a really good and easy to use app. The lady that was serving us was really lovely and made sure everything was ok when our food arrived.
We ordered the oozy floozy burgers and I have to say it was so tasty, absolute perfect portions, chips was really nice too.

s. c.We were served by Iyesha and Rosie this evening and they were absolutely fantastic! I have an autistic son who saw a picture of a burger and started to have a meltdown after explaining this to them they had the kitchen make it as a childrens meal especially for my son
It is very difficult to find somewhere that will accept my son and the meltdowns that come with unexpected places but I would 100% take him there again

S. W.We have been going to the pub regularly now for the last few months on a Thursday evening. As my wife has MS and struggles walking, we are made welcome by most members of staff and escecially Jayne. It givesy wife a break from the normality and gets her out and about with a smile on her face, which makes me happy. We play a few games of pool and have lovely meals which are well prepared and presented.

Rosie kept us up to date and sorted everything out , offering us a free drink which went down a treat ! Great food .. I had the tikka masala, my partner had the stake & our child had the sausage and mash ... deserts are to die for! Will be back ! Great service , friendly staff just an all round nice place.

K. S.As a pub this is a nice place with a fairly decent atmosphere. As for food, it's not bad but it could be better. I had a pie and chips with peas and gravy. Taste was nice, it was hot but there wasn't much on the plate. Another party member ordered one of the burgers. This was better but no be really honest for what you get the prices are too high. Put a little more on the plates Apollo or drop your prices a little!!

H. 2.Eat here at the Appollo quite often. The food is always served promptly and to a very high standard. Management, Bar Staff and Floor Staff are all welcoming and extremely pleasant. We as a family visiting here always leave very happy with the quality of the food and the excellent service from all at the Apollo.

P. C.Well two weeks ago went in with wife for food not offered a drink with the curry night on a Wednesday.
Went in to day for drink had a couple with with wife and asked for a cappuccino got one went back to the table and all it was, was full of hot milk no coffee. Went back to the bar and manager said coffee machine not working I suggest you fully brief you staff and there attention to detail and attitude . The young girls don't like thinks if you tell them they are wrong and on appolages and just a smirk not good. I have not many places to drink in the area and like the place and the manager is very professional. But get a grit of you saff and attitude.

D. B. E. W.Was here for my eldest sisters 41st Birthday. Had a lovely meal and a few drinks, along with some decent conversation. Apollo is an excellent place for a family night out. The food, drink are great while the setting is both cosy, and relaxed. The conservatory is the best part of the pub.
d. d.Overall not a bad pub average prices and usual drinks available like any pub. Downsides are always half the larger tables reserved and then don't get used at the times they're reserved for making it hard for a family to get seated, also the booths are incredibly small. They do offer a gluten-free menu but twice now they have not stuck to it. We ordered a gluten-free steak and when it came it had onion rings on, we told the girl who brought it out that it's now not gluten-free, she took it back and returned with the small plate with no onion rings. She took it back and the chef replated the meal! As if that is suitable for a ceoliac diet. Finally after returning the meal and speaking to a member of bar staff (supervisor I think) he arranged a replacement meal, apologised profusely, very good customer service from himself.

B. C.I came here with my wife and 2 grandkids the staff were very helpful and polite the food was traditional pub grub and it was OK but worth going for the service alone there is a full menu and a cheap menu and also a specials menu

J. H.Well it's a great big pub just off a roundabout at the top end of Holdeness road. It has outside seating a standard pub menu with the addition of a specials board. Its a busy place serving good food, cheap wine and beer. They don't do ANY real ales at all. Just lager, cider a selection of bottles. The only bitter they do is John Smith's. Dissapointing there. Good is plentiful and cooked well. There are tv screens dotted sbout, booth xones with small tv's and the interior is nice plenty of parking too. Its a great place to visit. Bus stops in both directions just outside as well.
