T. H. T. G. C.I visited The Haven Arms yesterday for a Sunday Carvery with my husband and mother-in-law. The food and service was fantastic and I'd highly recommend it. Great value and lots of choice of veg to go with a good variety of meats. If I had to give a criticism it would be about the exterior look of the building. Outside looks very tired and in need of renovation/decoration. Whilst it didn't put me off, it could deter other customers. My advice would be to look past this, the welcome, service and quality of the food more than made up for it. Phrase "don't judge a book by it's cover" springs to mind. We look forward to returning. W.Having visited here on Sunday 12th June with my family we was greeted buy a member of staff who was very friendly and helpful and showed us to our table.then the owner of the pub then came over and greeted us and told us that we can proceed to the carvery and went on to tell us how many meats were on.they was every meat you could think of so I choose the lamb and beef then helped ourselves to the rest I can honestly say it’s the best Sunday lunch I’ve ever had 👍well done to all involved will be back very soon

D.We went here on Sunday the 15\05\22 and had the carvery the staff were brilliant and couldn't do enough for us from the young man behind he bar who couldn't do enough for us right through to the chef all the staff were helpful and friendly I had the lamb and the beef both cooked perfectly and what a selection of egetables my plate was cleaned up completely after my only downside was I ate to much and couldn't sample the puddings 🤣 looks are deceptive and people shouldn't be put of by the outside as it is very clean inside it is warm welcoming and very clean

J. G.Stopped in for Sunday lunch. Great selection of vegetables and puddings. Would have been better if the dinner plates had been warmed as the food cooled fairly quickly. Still enjoyed it and will go again.
B. B.This is a place that has to be experienced. There is a great selection of meat, 4 options at least, and I have never been anywhere else that has the selection of vegetables. They certainly are not miserly with the meat. Please give yourself a treat and try, if you are not 100% happy with the meal I would be shocked. Enjoy.

C. H.The food is fabulous, service friendly, surroundings relaxed and comfortable. I went there with my mum n two of my children a couple of weeks back. The puddings are just WRONG..way too good! The only downside was the bill was a little higher than we expected, it was probably due to the drinks and therefore not a downside really, just something we should of watched out for. We'll be back! x

A. L.We arrived after 9pm when kitchen was closed only bar side has been opened, but we did not know it. Managers was happy to help us and offered to go in even restaurant zone was closed. So we have enjoyed ice cream and coffee in a calm romantic atmosphere. Very good manager attitude and very nice place, can see that owners put heart and effort in it. Recommend
G. M.Always enjoy my visits to the Haven Arms. Family run and always greeted with a smile. I think the Sunday lunch is the best you will find. Tend to avoid peak times and never had to wait long. Highly recommend a visit.
k. w.We went on bonfire night. The pub was under going some improvements there was building supplies like wood on the floor and like 1 maybe 2 people Manning the main bar with well over 100 people there. I didn't go into the Marquee as that was so busy it was unreal. The display was great though
