J. H.Very friendly staff, food was very good especially the meat feast pizza. Only gripe would be the food order app did not work properly so had to go in to order. But lovely place.
s.Good pub for a drink, but I'll be swerving the food in future. Fish goujon wrap, the chips were thicker than the tiny 3 fish goujons. Also realised afterwards that we weren't given the slaw that was supposed to come with the wraps. Kids pizza, judge for yourself from the photo.
L. M.Always great service can't complain, food nice and cheap has the nachos just wish was bigger ..not as in portion but in size of chips but that personal preference. Never had a bad meal bit would say the place could with a paint job here and ther and some of the seats are starting to look a bit tired
A. M.Lovely little pub, even though we had 2 tables full of people the food came in good time i felt (even though they said there was a wait) and was so good! Thoroughly enjoyed it
J. B.Haven't been here for years. Had a decent meal and some drinks for a friend's birthday yesterday. However, I find it a bit off that when you order dessert you have to specifically tell staff when you want pudding usually it is served around 10 minutes after your main meal. I felt a bit patronised by the bar staff depsite how nice he was. I don't think it is unusual to expect dessert to come out soon after the main meal plates are cleared or they could have asked if I was ready for dessert. The rest of my friends thought it was off you have to specify when you want dessert. The website maybe should specify that you have to ask for your dessert. I would come again. I just found that a little unusual.

Reasonable price drinks, great ambience about the place,friendly staff, large outdoor area for drinking, with beautiful view of the old mill( previous building workplace)

E. H.Had a lovely meal with family on a busy New Year's Day. There was a small problem due to staff replacements, but these were dealt with in such a professional and friendly manner. All the staff were great, I can't fault any of them. Food arrived when they said it would and all was piping hot. The chips were delicious, crispy yet soft, and the fish was fresh with crunchy batter. My burger was fab, it was very meaty and all seemed freshly made. All the family agreed we'd definitely return. Thank you to the staff for all for working so hard on a day when lots of people are relaxing and having fun. I hope you get to enjoy the new year your way soon x

J. C.Brought our in-laws and children to celebrate a 5th birthday on a Monday evening. The food was really tasty and made with care, great value too! The staff front of house were absolutely brilliant and really made the evening. Very welcoming, helpful, and brilliant with the kids. The pub itself had a great atmosphere. Will definitely be back.

The staff were exceptionally accommodating to the extent they allowed our 2 dogs inside and even brought them treats and a bowl of water. Excellent welcoming pub and friendly staff. We will definitely be returning on our next visit to Hull. Highly recommended.

r. w. f.Visited this afternoon with my wife and daughter. We all had a lovely mixed grill. The food was Fabulous ! We were looked after by Lisa and Jack. My daughter has a peanut allergy. When this was mentioned Lisa showed my daughter a tablet with the list of ingredients of the mixed grill. It was Jack's first time dealing with someone with an allergy and Lisa's for a while. They both dealt with this expertly and my daughter who is 12 was very impressed. We love it in the Mill and will definitely be back again. Gav, Steph and Abi(12).

S. P.I drink here regularly. The food is quite good and the staff are friendly. Good for groups. No jukebox though, several TV screens showing sport. Surprisingly good lighting! Literally a full size windmill outside with seating.

K. E.Went in for a drink and meal on Saturday, with a few friends lucky they managed to fit us in. We got asked if we were paying together i said seperate the order was quick. We had a nice meal but was not happy that the drink that ordered with the meal which was wine was changed on the receipt for the cheaper option of diet coke. On payment a young waitress speeded over mumbled which I couldn't hear her as I'm hard of hearing but neither could our friends. But when other waitress to come over to take seperate payment for other meal, to find out that the young waitress took payment for all 3 meals. This was sorted by declining last payment, She came back and I was paying for my friends and eye rolled at me thinking you said you wanted pay seprate, which was true but she could of asked me to do 2 seperate transactions which I wouldnt of minded. Great food but service needs some improvement.
W. M.Great little pub on the outskirts of the city centre. Home to the first Mill used by Joseph Rank ( whos company became to be know as rank hovis, the breadmakers)... Serves good food and the drink selection is great. Sky TV and a beer garden out the front. Located a few minutes walk from East Park and great access to the bus service incase you've had one too many to drive. A must, even if it's only to see the original, listed, windmill
K. J.Six of us went on new years day and had dinner. We all enjoyed the food, it was lovely and hot too and the staff were lovely. Only thing for me would be to have our table cleared when everyone had finished and not while two of us were still eating.

L. H.Great pub the ceiling is just a low and I'm not a tall person 5.10 abouts but nice place the atmosphere is grand. Never had nothing to eat in the pub so i can't tell you or give you a 1 out of 10.
P. M.Very busy because of football on sky, had to wait 40 minutes for our food but was worth it. Staff brilliant and couldn't do enough for us. We will go again.

W.We went there as a family my son and wife's meal's were great but as for mine I went to order 2light snacks I ordered the chips with cheese and gravy and was told it wasn't available do settles fo or the battrtd mushroom also ordered the chicken wings 10 minutes late was told I couldn't have them do had to order the Nacho's. when it came my mushrooms were swimming in grease and my Nacho's hand been microwaved do were a massive clump. Would never eat food there again and how hard is it to fo gravy,chips and cheese when it's on the menu and all the ingredients were available avalable on other dishes very disapointing.
