Pleasant atmosphere, great choice of beers, and friendly service, just wish we had the time to stay longer, so we will have to go again to make up for it. Even better after going for a second time, loved it.

Went for lunch last Sunday. Menu is thorough and has a large selection of vegetarian options. I had the house burger with blue cheese which was great- my brother had a vegetarian platter which looked amazing. Prices are on par for the area (nearly £5 for a pint of Brooklyn was a bit of an eye opener but to be expected). Large beer garden in the rear which was useful as the live music was not exactly to my taste and pretty loud when attempting to eat and chat... Pave is the original 'bar' on Princes Avenue so if you want to see how it all began then it's worth a visit... Just don't expect much change from a round of drinks.

Good pub, although a bit pricey. Lovely waiters; a chap called Mike changed my beer when I said it tasted a bit off (the next one was much better). Buying system is great- you scan a code, go on the website and order. And in like 1-2 mins the waiter brings you your order.

Not doing food any more. Still a great place for a drink even with Estrella at £5 a pint (April 2022). Particularly popular with health/social/third-sector workers.

Absolutely Baltic. Asked for outdoor heaters to be put on. Was told by barstaff that management wouldn't allow it due to cost. Other than that, good service, fab drinks and takeaway across the road provides music. Toilets could be checked more often as when we went they were a tad icky.

A popular meeting place laid out as one large and airy space. The downside is terrible acoustics. A good selection of craft and real ales on tap and in the chiller, though not as good as some. Good food, helpful and friendly staff, seated area out back. Heaters available, though not the most welcoming space

Very nice trendy coffee bar not the best coffee I've ever had but definitely not the worst. Good selection of ales and ciders too. The toilets let this venue down slightly as I don't recall anytime them being immaculate but the staff are funky and friendly and it's always a buzzing atmosphere. Everytime I'm passing I always tend to pop in.

Great beer selection, one of the best in the city in fact. Definitely one of the best bars on Prince's Ave, which is the best bet for good night life most nights of the week. The best night to head down is definitely Tuesdays for live jazz from local and touring artists. They also have live jazz on a Sunday, early afternoon.

Went fir a birthday drink An meal last nite😁 was a bit late so the specials what we first order had all gone x but what a brill guy on the bar🥂 adapted one of the meals cos my sons vegan an I had some thing off the main menu veggi . Went way out of his way to make sure our meals were spot on . The end to a perfect birthday thanks pave staff 💙💖

Had the Sunday roast here today,as we have been doing every other Sunday for the past 5yrs or so, was looking forward to the lovely mash that was advertised to accompany the rest of the meal. When it arrived I asked where the mash was,only to be told there was no mash today ! I pointed out the chalk board,received an apology,expected staff member to go and wipe it off,but it was still there after we left ! also no apple sauce with pork ? They did not have that today neither!! Certainly not putting us off returning,as usual the food was perfectly cooked,the veg ......gorgeous!!

Quite a nice afternoon. Had jerk chicken kebab. Couldn't taste much 'jerk' but chicken tender. Card machine not working which was a pain as don't usually carry much cash. Could do with sign saying in case card machine not working hav enough cash 2 cover. Would recommend tho
