It has two pool tables, plenty choice of beverages and good music. Live music artists on occasions. Quick and friendly bar staff. Near nice park for enjoyable sunny afternoon.

Too many reviews of places harp on about food food food, in the 80s everywhere was beer and a packet of pork scratching's, this has a lovely old feel about it, some decent beers and drinks and a superb beer garden at the back, I intend to spend plenty more summer afternoons in there
I. D.Lovely little pub with great people all round. The snacks are traditional pub snacks e.g pork scratchings, crisps, peanuts! The drinks are good, with a surprisingly great selection of classic cocktails that are received in a jug! One of my favourite places to go!

Besides what is on the bar, you come here for the atmosphere. All walks of life attend here to drink. Whether you're a 18 yo alcoholic or a 70yo alcoholic, you're welcome here. It's ace.
They have pool tables, a dart board and some of the best live music nights in Hull.

k.Went there for a pint after band practice about 20+ years ago, been my local ever since. A proper pub, food is proper pub food i.e. crisps, peanuts & Pork Scratchings, Guinness is always spot-on, conversations with strangers always welcome, kids not allowed inside as a bonus, great juke box, dog friendly with free doggie treats at the end of the bar & great bar staff. Home from home. Shame the brewery don't seem to give a damn about it though.

S. B.The Queens Hotel has been a mainstay of the Avenues for decades and rightly so. It's a traditional style of pub with no pretence, heirs or graces. It's a place to socialise, drink and have a great time
It's the go-to place in the Avenues to watch sports, especially football.
It has a largish pub garden plus a sheltered outdoor area.
The car park is large and hence, you'll never have a problem parking.

J. H.Comfortable interior rooms, bar, lounge, pool room etc.. and a vast beer garden, perfect for sunny afternoons. Never usually too crowded, can get busy on weekends but never overwhelming. Excellent digital jukebox, wide selection of music. Only problem being you may end up waiting a while for your songs to come on!

p. t.I drink in the queens at least twice a month when I meet up with friends. The pub as a great duke box and the beer selection is ok. Iv always have a good night. The pub has recently been refurbished so looks nice a fresh.

D. M.The regulars are lovely but a certain member of staff was very rude. I asked if I could charge my vape and brought my own USB and she flatly refused and spoke to me in a patronising, uncaring and teacherly way saying that they weren't a vape charging station. She was patronising jobsworth like person which was a real shame because the pub seemed nice. I would happily go again if she wasn't around.
