L. P.Went in on a Saturday has a soul dj on from 3pm. It was packed ! music was great. For the older crowd which was a pleasant surprise. Lots of people dancing and enjoying themselves. Lovely traditional pub

Don't go in expecting a massive selection of different beers, ales and spirits because that's not what this place is.

Y.Had a great afternoon in The City Hotel. Barmaid was friendly and chatty. The regulars were great fun and welcoming. We played pool with the regulars and had a right laugh. The beer was a great pint too. Definitely added to our pub crawl list. A brilliant old school friendly British pub.
