Great pub in the town centre of Ipswich. Serves delicious food, sports shown (also have a big screen) and DJ entertainment at over the weekends! Team are always friendly and provide a fast and efficient service. 5*'s all round!

Really nice pub. Has a caske mark and the beer is what I go for when everywhere else in town wants to serve cocktails etc... plenty of room with a nice outdoor area. Live sports and pub games inside, always happy with this pub.

I used to be a regular many years ago when the bar was on the other side of the place and it was a typical dark and dingy bar - but it had a great atmosphere and regular customers. It has changed a lot over the years. It is changed a lot over the years and is unrecognisable, but it still has a good vibe and people really enjoy the clubby atmosphere. Drinks are normal Ipswich prices, so not too bad.

Thanks to Ben and all the staff for the excellent service, carrying a beer over for me when I am not doing so well, may seem easy but for me sometimes it is not. And for the excellent Xmas Dinner food and service was excellent even though the pub was packed.

Nice enough pub for a good drink. There’s a lot of choice available at decent enough prices and the staff were friendly and quick at serving. There’s a lot of large screens throughout making it an ideal spot to catch up on the sport plus there’s lots of sitting and standing options as you do. I’d certainly return if I was nearby!

Never been in this pub in all the years I've been in Ipswich, and that's over 55 years. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was excellent and good value for money. Excellent choice including the breakfast menu. Very good selection if beers, ciders, lagers and exceptional range of spirits. Definitely going to be returning.

Not very busy when we ate there on a Friday night. No hand sanitizer when we entered. Staff all wore masks when brining our drinks/foods which we ordered from their (Greene King's) app. Food was plentiful (three sausages with mash) and plenty of chicken with the hunter's chicken. Good pint of Abbott.

Nice food. I usually have the chicken platter. As of late the place seems to have dropped it's standards a bit, the tables can be wobbly and sticky. The toilets (men's at least) are a bit of a state, tiles dug up from floor to reveal drain covers and no soap left in the dispensers.

A better example of a town centre Greene King pub. The usual selection of drinks, not great for real ale though. Standard chain pub food. Sky sports, dj's and a dance floor in the evening and a beer garden. Generally a decent crowd, rarely trouble but very much a town centre atmosphere.

Good food at reasonable price - Some of the guest ales can be a bit iffy and so it might be a good idea to ask for a taster before you commit.. If they recommend one and you don't like it you still pay for it. Service can be slow even at quiet times but over all not a bad pub.

Honestly one of the few places in Ipswich actually worth going to on a night out. The music is good as the mainly play rock genres. Drinks are a good price with drinks deals etc. Definitely the place to be on a Friday/Saturday if you hate R&B and you just want to rock out to some Stones.

Nice place however the manager is a bit thick, she can't tell the difference between a £20 note and a £10 note, and will argue you gave the lower. I was considering calling in the hardley brothers from south park to crack the case of the £10 theft but they were busy seeing if jet fuel melts steel beams.
