We were a party of 10 - all the meals came out as good as together, and were beautifully cooked. Really big plate loads and friendly, attentive staff. As nice a meal out as we have had anywhere, well done.

A great place, we come down almost every week. And have done for over 20 years. Great combination of being our local place gull of friends and all day food. Started my birthday with a fab breakfast, thanks Lisa for the recommendation the mega breakfast keep you going all day !

Let me start by saying the food was good. The staff were also friendly and tbis was their saving grace. Our booking had issues with getting the table right. No idea why - some confusion their end and putting right seemed a challenge. When ordering, multiple items turned out to be out of stock - pretty basic items too. Sadly these two failings made me extta critical. So when I noticed some spilled food on the floor which did not get cleared up for over an hour - despite being a clear slip hazard (and multiple staff walking past it) was disappointing. There were other items just laying around giving a slightly untidy perspective. However... The food was very good with decent portions and the deserts were particularly good. Add to this some great outside space, good parking and you have a mixed bag which ultimately is probably worth a chance. Just be lucky.

Grace? More like “great” Grace. Wonderful service and the toilets were clean. My stomach is full and so is my dogs water bowl. Here’s her passed out from eating too much!

Really hit or miss, we were really impressed with the value and quality of the food, but next time we went it was nowhere near as good, and the time after that we had to wait 25 minutes to have clean glasses & were told on the 3rd attempt they were water stains. We ended up buying bottled soft drinks to avoid using the glasses as the orange/red stains on them were obviously not water stains. Looked more like they had a very dirty dishwasher which was spraying sauce over everything. Also, it's not really that difficult to just wipe off the water stains with a clean cloth as even without the food stains, a glass you can't see through is still off-putting. There were also issues with the quality of service the third time however the food this third time was good so it's difficult to rate. Hopefully it balances out soon?

After our previous visit which wasn't the best experience we were invited again to dine at the Farmhouse. This time around we couldn't fault, the food, the staff or the service. Whilst the pub was busy, the wait time for drinks and food was not too long. The food was freshly prepared and all adjustments made for fussy children. We had 2 staff check if everything was OK during the meal and it was. Overall, a great dining experience and great service. Thanks again to Sophie the duty manager!
