A classic venue with a rock n roll spirit that still persists today! The ballroom has been host to so many bands over the decades and today is still host to some amazing Ipswich talent, its amazing that it endures especially in these times. Great place to have a birthday and with the recent refurbishment the bars look better than ever. If you ever see a gig at the Manor..its always worth looking into! 5 stars! X

Friendly club staff are amazing the landlord has really improved the club in many ways. The club is used every weekend for weddings, corporate events and karaoke would definitely recommend The Manor Ballroom for any event

Myself and my wife had our wedding reception there, Eddie looked after all our needs and ensured our day went off without any problems, the caterers did us proud by laying on a wonderful buffet, no food went to waste as the caterers put out takeaway boxes for our guests, the bar staff were very efficient and served our guests like professionals, the disco that came with the hall package was excellent even down to our first dance which was by a group called Rascal Flatts, Thankyou Eddie and all the staff involved in making our day that extra special Brian and Amanda.

We moved to Ipswich just over 5 years ago now but only recently started going to the club recently because they’ve started having some great live bands. Very well run and friendly and welcoming staff. Great set out and much better than some other social clubs I’ve been to. Fair priced drinks too and very clean as well. Well worth a visit.

We hired the downstairs hall and bar for renewal of our wedding vows and party. The staff were amazing and really helpful. The venue has been decorated and the cost to hire was really reasonable. Would definitely recommend as a party venue.

Manor Ballroom gives the wrong impression of what's available. Two excellent bars with cheap drinks. Open to the public every Saturday night with a disco playing. Maybe dropping the ballroom would be a good idea. Or having a few local bands playing would entice a few more people in. Very good night at a friend's birthday party.

Kinda an old pub turned club. Staff is friendly. If you're looking for cheap alcohol then this is the place to go. Its just a few minutes walk from Ipswich Town Centre. Although if you're looking for a more classy place with better clientele and better ambience then this isn't it.

I'm sure Peter Kay visited this place before writing Phoenix Nights. They always have Bingo and a live act on a Sunday. Great prices, a large carpark and a pool table make this a must visit to reminisce about your childhood.

This club has been around for many years, central Ipswich town which is handy, friendly staff (could do with more staff on some larger functions) otherwise all ways a good night has..2/3 functions to rent or use. X

Cheap building to hire for functions and located in town centre. A bit outdated but serves it's purpose. Be careful parking at the rear as it's permit holders only so you could get ticketed.

I go here twice a week...on Mondays 11 am for tai chi which is free so come along...there's no excuse. And on a Sunday 6.30pm for Salsa...love it...great venue x
