Good range of real ale on tap including Leeds brewery. Wednesday is £3 cask pint night. Comfortable chairs, well spaced and easy to find somewhere to sit. Clean and looked after. Would recommend.

Met for here for a pre theatre lunch with friends. The place is really tastefully decorated & furnished. Really light & airy upstairs and a nicely lit downstairs basement where there is a little stage area for cinema & comedy. The food was tasty, fresh and well cooked. I had salad but my friends were impressed by the proper hand-cut chips! Ben was the barman & waiter & was so lovely & friendly & smiley! Thankyou Ben for a lovely time! ❤️

Had to move my rating down as no wi fi. I generally like this place as close to market and bus station just too expensive overall. Great selection of bears, but food a bit expensive for what it is, though you could do worse.

I have popped in on my occasional visits to Leeds each year. Staff are very pleasant and there is a reasonable selection of real ales available. Beer prices reflect that it is a city centre bar. Contemporary designed layout with some quirky doggy artwork adorning the walls. Not tried the food but people seem to enjoy it.

Amazing food, really enjoyed our Christmas meal here. The food is fantastic, and the service is great. They were a little late bringing out some of our food, and compensated by giving the table an extra couple of bottles of wine ! This was fantastic, particularly as the delay wasn't really that long. The beers here are quite good as well, nice variety though a touch pricey. The bar/restaurant itself is a lovely place, suitable for family/friends outings as well as being a nice dating spot. Overall a fantastic place, I would come back to happily .

A casual place that attracts trendy crowd. Very good beer selection. Good food too, loved the burger. My wife loved the wine and the atmosphere is relaxed and warming. There is seating outside facing the surrounding garden. Full of young crowd, very friendly environment.

Great pub round the corner from the bus station. Good atmosphere and friendly staff. Looks like they hold regular weekly events such as live music and games night from the posters on display. Lovely chilled ambience. An excellent place to pop in if visiting Leeds.

A visit to this pub is always excellent. They have a fantastic range of beers and ciders and the food is always top notch. The staff are really knowledgeable on their product and have always offered great service. There are a load of different events on like cinema nights which look great. They've converted the back alley into a small beer garden, with picnic tables and fake grass. It's a nice suntrap for a few late afternoon pints in the summer.

This place has a very nice chilled-out flavour. Quite nice and spacious, close to the city centre and lots of eating options. The staff is happy and cheerful which is always a strong point for me. When I need to meet people either for social or professional reasons, I usually choose this place. It's easy to find, and I always get complimented for choosing a good place to meet. Win-Win.

Came for a roast dinner before the quiz. I had the vegetarian option which was mushroom, sweet potato and stout tart. It was beautiful and really nice vegetables and fresh Yorkshire pudding. We had visited here for a roast dinner on the previous menu and it was average because of burnt Yorkshire puddings. This menu was much better and will definitely be back again for food before the quiz!

It's a great place to go. But you do need some money in your pocket. I paid £5.80 for a pint, but for what I was drinking was happy with it. Nice stop when you got time to kill when travelling via coach

Went for a Christmas meal from the festive menu. Staff were fairly good and attentive. Food was average, luke warm when served and the veg wasn't cooked at all. Dessert was good and they rectified our bill when they forgot to take the deposit off.

Very nice looking cozy pub in the city center. I have been here couple of times it is always welcoming in here. There are board games, nice draught ales, other drinks, and food and snack options. I had vegi Sunday roast and it was big and tasty. There plenty of space on both floors. Staff was a bit slow on Sunday afternoon but it is normally quick and friendly.

This is a very good pub in the city centre. Great atmosphere - after recent renovation the pub looks great, is very cozy and stylish. It has a classic pub look in some areas and more contemporary pub feel in others. Staff is friendly and service is of good quality. Selection of drinks is very good and reasonably priced. Good live music in the evenings. Food is good as well. This is one of my go to pubs and I like it a lot.

Consistently brilliant Roast dinner on a Sunday. We usually visit around 3:30, plenty of space and always a warm welcome! The nut roast is always brilliant and tasty as is the Pork! The raosts are big so come hungry! Always a great range of beers and drinks!

Pleasant - and good atmosphere; nicely decorated with a lot of books on shelves, we liked it. According to my wife, though, they need to check the ladies loos more often; there were three cubicles and only one had toilet tissue and even that was near the end of the roll. This is a real 'no no' for the ladies!

One of my favourite places in Leeds to go for a drink. It can be a little dark in places but the drinks range is excellent and you can easily sit with your mates and have a conversation without competing to be heard.

Good atmosphere not too busy so you can hold and hear a conversation. Enjoyed the new draught fruit cider, good food a screen downstairs for the sport fans. Differences in floor level to watch for if you've any balance issues and toilets down stairs via an open tread wrought iron staircase. Handrail to the right on the way down wall to the left.
