Great place, good for footie, food and music. Bar staff efficient and sociable. Been out of the country last 25 Years and good to be back. This place was one of my old haunts. Good to see it busy on a Wednesday night.

I took my dad and step mum here this week. We all had a lovely meal, the steak pie was amazing! The staff there were very helpful and Riley was especially so. Lovely atmosphere and very friendly staff . Nothing too much trouble. Riley even brought water for our dog. Thank you to everyone. Love the new heated outdoor area!

Had a brilliant night on the first Thursday (20th May) after easing lock down meant we could have some food and drinks inside. I've never been to this pub but it was convenient for all going (6 of us). They were applying social distancing, T&T and had many sensible measures in place for customer safety and security. All Staff were friendly and welcoming (see below). Food was well priced and was very good considering the price point (I had steak pie etc). Drinks also pretty reasonable price in my opinion (but then I live "down south"!!!!) Drinks and food all brought pretty promptly after either ordering in person at the table or using the App which was pretty simple to follow. The Lady who served us most of the night really made us welcome, she was very friendly, efficient and really topped off a great night. She was a star. Would definitely recommend after our experience and will be visiting gain when back in Leeds.

I used to be a regular in the devon but I stopped going a few years ago due to the staff being rude, unfriendly and slow. But I heard they got a new landlord over lockdown and we walked passed and the outside looked lovely. So we thought we would give it a go. We was served by a woman with blonde hair in a bob who was very lovely and helpful. We ordered food which was lovely and we was asked by the same woman if are food was OK not long after it arrived and also when she cleared our plates. The pub was lovely and clean and looked fresh. The new landlord seems to be turning the pub around which I can imagine being very difficult with the current covid situation. Will definitely be a regular again

Fabulous food and ambience. Staff are lovely. We come quite often and have never been disappointed. Chips excellent and my favourite is the peppered mushroom pie, super pastry, and I have it with mash which is brilliant. Can't fault it.

Love this place for all the right reasons. Great well-trained staff that works as a team. Food is superior to the usual pub grub you find in local pubs and the prices are very affordable. Aimed at catering for the local populace in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Superior environment. A bit quiet but not surprising as it's just reopened but very friendly staff and excellent table service with the app. Would definitely recommend.

Food was average and reasonably priced, but that's because it was a chain, seemed pretty busy, with regulars, cleaning of tables etc could have been a bit more upkept, but had a good atmosphere. I ordered the southern fried chicken burger, the chicken was a bit overcooked, but the fries that came with it were fine, my friend ordered the miso burger (veggie option) which looked really nice and my friend enjoyed it, also ordered some side orders or haloumi, mac n cheese and onion rings, all were fine. The guy who brought the food out was really friendly and polite.

Had two meals for £9.99 nice and hot good size and tasty had the steak n ale pie and Gannon. Meal filled the plate . Plus we had to lattes that were piping hot the only place that can make a hot one.

I went to the Devon for an hour mainly went for the exercise and had a low alcohol alcohol lager 0.5% the pub itself varies from week to week if I go in on a Tuesday sometimes busy other times quiet I have given it a 3 star rating with the potential for a 4 star as it often only attracts men on a Tuesday with card games and football matches on the screen. For it to be 4 star it needs to be more women friendly on a Tuesday I do not go in the pub any other time so would not know what it is like then The staff behind the bar seem friendly enough
