P.Recently re-opened after being shut for a few years. Had some great cask on as part of a Turning Point takeover on my visit. Had a pool table too. Will be back on my next visit to Leeds.
A. L.Fantastic place for craft ciders and beers!! Small compared to other bars and pubs but ample for the crowd - it almost feels like a secret that nobody else in Leeds knows about but your one of the privileged few that do! Always on my list for drinking in leeds - they have a well stocked bar of spirits, ciders, beers, stout, coffees and crisps.
A. S.I discovered this amazing pub in August and been 4 times now. Im a real cider fan and this pub is the current winner for having so many choices. It always has over 22 real ciders to try every time I've been.
They do 3 1/3rd tasting trays which is a really good way to try ciders with friends.

K. S.Lovely pub. Simple but tasty food and they have a good range of beers. Decent place to be able to hang out with friends although it would be good if they had a few more non alcoholic options. Was very nice of the bar person to point out that the beer I wanted would be almost £14 for a pint!!

D. S.Lots of tap beers. Some interesting beers in the fridge too. 23 or so cider choices too. Not cheap but between 5pm and 7pm York beers are 3 pounds a pint. Free WiFi.

Appears to have been bought by York Brewery, which is no bad thing as there is now a good choice of beer.
M. J.Foleys is one of those places that you might not know about, but when you do you'll come back again and again. A wide selection of beers on tap and in cans/bottles, and staff that are more than happy to help guide your choices.

P. S.A great York Brewery pub in Leeds. Good selection of own products as well as some quality guest ale's. They do quality food. The cheeseboard is well worth it and compliments the fine selection of beers. It can get busy in the evening.
R. P.My fave pub for a pint on the way home from work. X6/72/50/50A & 49 buses all go from outside. Amazing beers on handpump & tap. If you like cider you won't be disappointed. Great snacks too. Not pretentious and not an old style boozer, sits nicely in the middle & staff and clientele always friendly.
T. M.One of the greatest selections of beer and cider in Leeds. A large pub with an excellent atmosphere, loads of seating and incredible drinks. Well worth a visit with a friend or workmates, the social lubricant that is alcohol makes for a jovial atmosphere whatever the situation.
S. M. (.I visit Foleys every few months for drinks with friends. Its a decent bar, service is good, and the decor is nicely done. Th bathrooms are down a set of stairs, so not ideal if you are not mobile, but otherwise its a very decent bar and worth a visit.
T. W.Large old style interior city pub with multiple rooms to sit. Excellent choice of a range of barrelled ciders is what this place is known for. Although it does do beer and other drinks as well. Nice venue, although can't comment on the food as I've not eaten there yet.
N. u.Great pub atmosphere, clean toilets to use once you've drunk enough beer, well the gents anyway, I did check the ladies. Nuts, a great selection of nuts, and pork pies. Also has many beers. Most seemed wonder. Bar staff great :)

R. W.Very good selection of cask and keg beers. And an amazing selection of boxed ciders. Bar is nicely done out and decorated. The rest of the place could do with a bit of work and is split over three levels. Definitely recommended as somewhere different to go in Leeds. Lots of choice in bottles too and has won various Camra awards. Bit on the pricey side but to be fair so is the rest of Leeds!
M. C.Impossible to see the range of beers on offer due to the bar being used for seating despite there being ample room elsewhere. They need a better menu system and to clear the bar-hogs. Plenty of superior options exist in this saturated market.

R. B.Have been a semi-regular for a few years - their cider range is second to none in the city centre - but used them for a private party booking in January and they were absolutely brilliant.
- Free to hire their back room, which is looking prettier than ever. Can fit up to 70 maybe - we had about 30
- Friendly and helpful in the run up to the event, and on the day. Responded to emails and requests really positively
- Let us put up a few decorations
- Provided us with crockery, cutlery, napkins and platters for a small buffet we brought ourselves, and even prepared the food to bring out
- Took care of all the cleaning up
- Let us leave a bag overnight to collect the next day so that we didn't have to drag it around with us later in the evening
- Had loads of craft ale, kegs and cider options so that everyone was happy
They made it incredibly easy for us and nothing was too much trouble - would 100% recommend and use again.
E. K.I love this place for their variety in tap beers and ciders, and an option to have 3 small glasses instead of 1 pint to taste the brews. I enjoyed the atmosphere and music here not one time. My vision of this place was always positive until I have come there week before Christmas. Floors were sticky, place was packed and stouts were horrible, I could not finish a pint... I am not sure if it's Foley's fault but it is a bad practice to even have something that bad in the house.

M. M.Interesting corner plot pub with good views of Leeds city hall and the square. Run by York Brewery, this is a multi-beer house that offers you lots of choice in what to drink, and not just beers from York Brewery either. Set on two levels, most of the seating is on the upper, mezzanine level where you have a choice of two rooms. Friendly service.
J. S.Came in with a few friends around lunch time and pint didn't taste right. I expected to have difficulty getting it changed but they did it straight away no questions asked, said the glass may not have been rinsed properly, knocked a star off for the toilets, floors were soaked, think a urinal leak and you had to step over the toilet to close and open door. Overall a lovely bar with good staff,just a let down in the loos
B. G.Great place to go for a great selection of drinks. I'm a particular favourite of the huge selection of box ciders which rotate often, meaning you can enjoy something a bit different once in a while.
Foley's can get a little rowdy with larger groups but during the daytime it makes for a cosy and homely place with a great playlist of laid back music and comfy seating
T. G.This is opposite the art gallery and so is a popular pub run by York brewery.I t sells its own beers but also a few beers from other breweries so they also have a decent choice to chose from and the price is reasonable.It does get busy on a Saturday so you need to be willing to stand.

M. T.Great selection of drinks and a nice place to sit and have a drink - problem was that empty seats were a rare commodity, so our group was left standing for quite a while. Testament to the popularity of the place more than anything. There was a cider event going on, so there was a large variety of ciders - well received by our group.

It was a Saturday night and it wasn't too busy or too loud, more than enough room to breathe and relax and enjoy the cosy atmosphere. And the toilets are well kept.

I've only visited this pub in the evening, so I've not witnessed any daytime activities (watching football, family meals etc.)

The evening trade seemed to be there for the ale alone. There is a selection of wines and a few craft ciders as well.
Spirits appear to be the usual. Gordons Gin, Jamesons' Irish Whiskey and so on.
But these are all but a distraction.
The quality of the Beer and it's husbandry, are what Foleys is all about.

D. R.A rarity in Leeds that it serves a wide selection of good ciders. If they have Gladiator in stock I would recommend trying if you're brave enough as it is quite strong at 8.4% but tastes good.
