A. B.Beautiful original art nouveau pub worth a visit for the tiles and decor alone! However, once you get there you’ll also find that the staff are great, the atmosphere is friendly and the beer is good - so what’s not to like?! Used to live in Hunslet and this was my local. I still visit whenever I’m in the area and it’s always good.

No ale on due to equipment malfunction in the cellar, but enough alternatives to whet our thirsts
D. B.wow, what a lovely pub, lovely architecture and decor and the staff were friendly. Liked the room dedicated to Hunslet rugby league club. Sadly the beer ( well my pint anyway ) was not good,it was sour. Will return however and hopefully beer back on form
P. M.Incredible museum type building with lovely bar rooms complete with original features from turn of century. Sadly; no real ale ...come on Leeds Brewery ..what are you playing at? This is a gem and should be looked after, advertised for beer / pub enthusiasts..why run out of beer with the brewery no more than 5 mins away? !!@
T. H.An amazing pub that is so completely different from its surroundings. It's a must visit. Tiling to the front bar (Vaults) floor, etched windows, beautiful. Oh, the beer, yes Leeds Best was on. If you're in Leeds and you like traditional you MUST visit.
B. H.Me and my pals went to this amazing pub after turning up too early to a night at Beaverworks. The landlady Julie is a LEGEND!!! She's the sweetest and most generous landlady I've ever known!!! We were made to feel very very welcome in a beautiful pub with a local community feel. The regulars are very friendly too!!! 10/10!!! Will definitely be returning here!!

C. R.Somehow this Leeds gem survived the demolition of all the terrace houses that surrounded it. Now it is a little lost among 60s and 70s housing and you'd never pass it by accident but well worth seeking out for its traditional interior. It has a lot of memorabilia from Hunslet RLFC.
P. G.What a lovely pub,My dad used to go in this pub when we lived in hunslet in the sixties so me and my wife went in to see what it was like and WOW its hits you what fantastic decor Like walking back in time the staff are really friendly they let us take loads a photos and the beer is great
