Surprisingly very nice Sunday lunch, if the plates had been wam and the room warmer it would have been better, the food would have stayed warmer longer, but all in all a good plateful of food.

Tried the carvery for the first time today, I may never make Sunday lunch again. Absolutely gorgeous food, loads of different vegetables and a choice of 3 different meats (husband has the vegetarian option). Yorkshire pudding was fabulous and huge and you can definitely tell they are homemade. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere is relaxed. Thank you Simon and Sarah and the whole High Farm team.

Great little pub. Very reasonable prices and the events i.e bonfire night and New year's are always lively and welcoming for families and adults. This place has gone uphill massively since the change of management and the locality is all the better for it.

We attended on a Friday for the quiz. It was £1 per team and although we didn't win it was a right laugh. Friendly staff and the beer is cheap and nice. Love it.

Had the Sunday dinner today and it's was really nice with plenty of choice with meat and veg and a bargain at £6.50 ,could have been a lille warmer but all in all a very nice Sunday dinner would highly recommend

My friend had a party there it was lovely in the main barn room it's for hire. I went there nearly every Friday night back in the day.bar staff are lovely and friendly. And they do food collectors for food banks they have genuine interests in the community. They are good at sticking to government guidelines for covid too ,you feel safe. When you go everyone makes you welcome and you become one of the pubs family.

What a great local gem. The couple who run this pub work so hard to provide a good range of events to suit all ages. Food is well prepared, home cooked, tasty and affordable. There's always a deal or offer on too ! There's a lovely friendly atmosphere and you're made to feel very welcome.

We made our way here after visiting parade dental. Stopped for a drink but ordered a taxi within minutes. The place was run down and atmosphere was very casual. Music was very loud. Not an overly bad place to go for a quick drink.

Lovely building, friendly attentive staff, welcoming regulars. Good pint of Wainwright. Sunday carvery (in superb function room) excellent value and quality (I counted 10 veg- none overcooked- plus mash, chips, roasties, yorkshire puddings, beautiful meats and gravy..) Well worth seeking out for a sunday destination , special occasion or friendly pint in convivial circumstances. Large grounds for the kids or sunshine fans!
