Went to eat with a few friends and was pleasantly surprised. I used to frequent this place many moons ago and it was so lovely to go back and to cap it all off the food smashing. I ordered the steak fondue to share and still couldn't get through it all. Will definitely be back.

This is a very massive venue. It's gives a nice homely kind of family vibes. It's neatly tuck way just off the road and very close to city centre. The staff are amazing. They give each and every customer lots of attention. Always checking on you and asking how can they make your visit better. The restroom are spacious and the Decor of the venue is Amazing. 🍻The bar is well stock with assorted spirits and beers this is where you also order. 🍻 They have a variety of food and snacks on the menu in which we had the wings deal meal. Tasty 😋😋😋 and the prices are reasonable. They also use cash/card. They have a variety of machine that will keep children and adults very entertained. As you will see from the photos. There is inside parking. And children play area. I would recommend this venue for large Groups and gathering. Family day out. Or for a relaxing chill vibe. Well done guys keep up the good work.

I'm new to the area. We live close by so we thought we'd come in for tea on Friday. Well!! Extremely warm welcome from your waiting staff, so pleasant and friendly. The food was lovely, well prepared and very reasonable. top marks to your chef and the waiting staff. Just as we we were about to leave we saw a DJ setting up. We thought we'd give listing to him a go. How great and refreshing it is to listen to a DJ who plays everything to suit all tastes. too many play, well to be honest rubbish!! I wanted to request a song but felt nervous approaching him so we just sat and listened. Both he and your staff are a credit to your pub. We will be back and recommend the new friends we are making in the area to visit your pub. From me and my partner. Thank you everyone.

Excellent pub restaurant near Round Hay Park Leeds. Called in a few times for a drinks and food. I’m normally drink beers and IPA. I’ve sampled a paint of Ice Breaker and found it very refreshing and full of flavour. The food is great value with offers on throughout the week. The food is served piping hot which is a pleasant change. We have ordered a gammon/chips/peas - chicken strips platter - chicken wings sharing platter and the food is best find and value of 2022. With friendly staff - great food and beers this is a great find so please try it out.

Brilliant place. The food is quality and the DJ on a Friday and Saturday night is what make this place worth the visit (DJ Mark). Couldn't ask for a better local. The only reason I give it 4 out of 5 is they keep putting the prices up, Strongbow used to be £2.75, now it's £3.05 but I guess that's inflation.. Update:- yes £3.05 is excellent value, you're right. I've updated to a well deserved 5 stars

This is a wonderful place. Service is always fantastic. Meals are quick and tasty. There are always specials and things going on in the pub. Reasonable prices and a great place overall.

Large portions of good pub food. Great value for money, good special offers. Children welcome. Would recommend highly for family suppers tea, not somewhere I would go to for an intimate dinner or special celebration. That's not to say it wasn't good value for money but the surroundings, menu etc are all definately aimed at fast food pub food. (apologies for any misunderstanding in original post)

Hi, i noticed you replied to my review but it wouldn't let me respond directly. The service was good the pub is lovely and clean all staff were helpful and polite but we found our food to be pretty poor. My burger was very dry. And my girlfriends meal was barely warm on arrival. Didnt make a fuss but thats why it was only a 3 star review.

Food was good for it's price but it wasn't the best I've had in budget chains. Staff were very friendly and polite.The interior is in need of some TLC especially the furniture.But if your looking for a meal on tight shoe strings then this is the place to be.Each day has different deals so it can be very inexpensive. Car park to the front and very family friendly!!!

I gave roundhay pub 5 stars because me, my mam, dad and brother went today for a Christmas dinner and they did a gluten free Christmas dinner and it was very nice and I would recommend it to anyone that is a coeliac because They know alot about gluten free and they even do a gluten free lemon cheese cake and they even do other gluten free food as well and the staff are very nice and kind and friendly as well

A nice pub with a good atmosphere. Drinks were well poured etc although there was quite a few sold out products. Reasonably priced and lots of events , imagine it'd be a good local. If you're a meat eater I'd say it's a good space for some pub grub, just don't set your expectations too high, it's standard mostly premade food. I wouldn't recommend however for vegans or vegetarians. There are more options for veggies but the vegan options are extremely limited and the burger was awful, incredibly bland and dry with very cheap ingredients. I've found better fake chicken burgers at aldi for a quarter of the price.

Normally 5* except last night’s experience was terrible. Waited ages at the door to be seated, could see the young men chatting at the bar ignoring us. Would understand if the pub was busy but it wasn’t there was only a couple of tables in. Finally one of them with dark hair came over with a very laid back, can’t be bothered attitude. Nothing was explained except the app/check-in it’s a good job I’ve been many times before! I love this pub normally very good friendly service and very safe. Didn’t feel very safe after watching the staff walk the wrong way on the one way walk ways +. The manager is so lovely and is always working when I go except she wasn’t tonight. There is a big difference between enjoying and feeling safe to being on the edge. Unfortunately some are taking it seriously and some are not!

Excellent place. It was warm and comfortable and had an extensive amount of food on offer. From children's small meal then a bit large. And small and larger meals for adults the prices were very reasonable and the waitress service was excellent. Only one problem there was only one person behind the bar where you ordered your food and drinks. There was quite a queue of 4 people before me and i waited more than 10 mins. Other than that just need more staff in bar.

Over the past couple of weeks this has become a regular place for me and my friend to have lunches together. You will never find anywhere which sells food at such a good price, and such good value for money. Every time we’ve ordered a meal from here it has come in good time, and from very friendly, helpful staff. We’ve dined here at least 15 times and always been impressed by the quality of food. Always look forward to coming here for our treat days!

Been coming here for years. friendly staff and pretty quick service. Never wait long for either drinks or food. I have had many Meals here at different times of the day & it has been lovely food . There has been an odd moment but they replaced quickly. It has changed Decor again (no idea why as it was nice enough and modern) it now has a childrens corner far top corner where seating once was. I think the only down fall is if going to have a childrens area then put safety enclosure with gate so cannot escape. This would really add to the service here & perhaps a mini ball pool for the smaller ones .

Very nice park with a large and smaller lake. Has a cafe that overlooks the lake. Many swans and ducks gather here to be fed. A building known as the Mansion is also in the park. This catered for weddings and meals at one time. Not sure if it still does food and teas.

The menu is decent enough and the staff seem friendly but the food and drink are a little expensive for what you get. If you’ve been to one Hungry Horse-owned pub then you’ve been to them all. The pub itself is tidy enough but does seem a little bit run down.

Wow what a difference. .went a couple of months ago and there was no atmosphere the staff looked like they would rather have been somewhere else and the whole place was dreary and downtrodden. .we heard that it was under new management so went along tonight and what a total turn around, the staff were pleasurable which made the whole atmosphere a lot more welcoming and the pub actually looked in a better state even the outside drinking areas were tidy and clean...needless to say we had an enjoyable night out and will definitely be going again

Cheap, and large servings of food. Leave before the music starts. In the event of a zombie apocalypse, this isn't a good prospect for survivors, too large to easily fortify without a big group, no access to fresh water, near large residential areas... Give it a miss.
