It's a pretty average pub really. Doesn't really have anything that sets itself apart from any others. Has lots of midweek deals that cater to students and a few tvs for sport. Large outdoor seating area that needs some TLC and a pretty middling selection of beers.

The Royal Park Pub has been a weekly (maybe daily) part of my life for years because it's just that good. The drinks are always cold and tasty, the beer garden has had a recent upgrade. This was the first place I went after restrictions on pubs were lifted. The staff are amazing. The manager is wonderful but Nisa is fantastic. Always service with a smile. You can tell she loves her job.

I was here on Wednesday 20th April just gone and what an amazing pub this is! Around 6/7pm There was one Girl who served me a couple times at the bar and she was very friendly and chatty and helped me with my drinks outside, gutted I didn’t catch her name! But if she sees this keep up your amazing work & friendly service ☺️☺️ Overall 10/10 experience 👍🏻

Great boozer. Nice mix of people. Students to pensioners. Prices are good and the staff are a good bunch. Looks to be plenty going on. Good place to meet up with mates before gigs or grabbing some grub. Indoors or outdoors, the choice is yours.

Ok as pubs go full of students usually food not bad was a brilliant cracking pub back in the day when ushna,then Barnsley Brian had it but never mind them good old days are gone never to return when a pub was a pub not a restaurant/music hall/cinema but time they are changing. I bought the best pint of strongbow of my life in this pub. It was crisp, refreshing and delicious, and the bubbles tickled my tongue. I was in ecstasy. The experience was truly made by the girl who served me - Emily Topping was the perfect host. She made me feel very relaxed and at ease, and as soon as I saw her face, I wanted to spend lots of money. A beautiful woman, a beautiful pint, a beautiful pub. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

Popular with locals and students alike. The quiz night on Wednesdays seems to be a hit. Drinks are reasonably priced with a bountiful selection. There’s nothing outstanding here, just your average run of the mill pub.

Nice pub, regularly used by myself as a stop-off point before I go to a gig or show at Brndenell Social Club next door. Has a good jukebox and a decent selection of drinks to choose from as well as a games room (pool table and darts board) and a quiet lounge area. Also a good venue to watch live sport

Popped in for a meal prior to going to a gig at the Brudenell Social club nearby. We had a value meal, 2 for £7.95 and a beer. The meals were excellent,well cooked and nicely presented. The beer was real ale and was cheaper than any city pub. We will be popping in again when we are in the area.

Overall, it wasn’t the worst pub in the world, but at the same time, we didn’t have the best experience. Not sure if they were short staffed that day but there were so many dirty glasses lying about it was hard to get a clear table. The service was also really slow and we felt like everyone else around us who got there later was served first. Again, don’t know if it was just a bad day but it’s put us off going back.

Refreshingly pub-like in a world full of "bars", prices that make you feel like you've gone back in time or they've made a mistake, clean, friendly and conveniently located close to The Brudenell for pre-gig drinks away from the crowds. I'm guessing it's busy if the football is on TV.

Fairly cheap and usually has 2-3 guest ales. Also has pool tables, a quiz machine, a jukebox, a dartboard, a claw machine, fruit machines, and board games. Fairly large beer garden out back.

One of the finest bozzers ever to grace Hyde Park, it is an absolutely huge establishment that fills the road. It is at the epicentre of cultural excellence in the West Yorkshire area, and certainly will be for many years to come.
