Stick or Twist has become my favorite place to eat. I go there and I am able to sit for an hour or two without feeling rushed. The staff are polite and the service is fast. I appreciate the free refills on the hot drinks. Great place, fantastic all round meals from the steak to the boneless basket. Their opening hours is a plus too.

Come during steps consent, to grab food before we went in. Seems everyone else had the same idea. It was packed. We managed to get a table inside. And ordered using the app. Staff were spot no complaints on food or service to say how busy it was. Well done all.

Nice new modern Spoons. Food good and fast delivery. We were in for nearly two hours and we did not see one table being wiped and often left cluttered with glasses and plates. The place wasn't busy but staff walking about.

Went to a concert and pub is next door,handy. It's a normal wetherspoons but must say cleanest I have been in for a while. Had breakfast next day was hot and cooked well. Outdoor seating area which would be nice to sit with a drink in summer if off to arena.

You either love a 'Spoons or you hate 'em. I love 'em. I love the way that they can sell the same products as other pubs but way cheaper, and some people are too snobby to go in and save the money. This particular bar is brand new from 2020, so quite smart, good outside area that can be a real suntrap. Perfect for the Arena next door. Prices are amazing, can order at table with the brilliant app. I'm a fan.

Decent Wetherspoons located just around the corner from the arena. There's seating outside (both smoking and non-smoking) if the weather's decent. Good selection of beers & wines.

Hard to beat. Yes I know it's a Wetherspoons. Went in here with a colleague for lunch as I was in a hurry. Superfast ordering via their app. Drink arrived within around 2/3 minutes, food within about 10. Lightening fast. I had a simple meal of Hunters chicken or similar and all of it was cooked perfectly. I suppose it is a lesson to other restaurants to deliver what it says on your menu. We had ordered, eaten and were leaving in 30 minutes. Everything was clean, comfortable and service was outstanding. Not a lot for me to criticise.

It's a nice Wetherspoons, now larger than before. Disappointed with the breakfast, everything except the toast was cold. The beans were absolutely stone cold. No apology, just "I'll tell them about it". Never had this happen in any other Wetherspoons and I've been in over 300.

My colleagues and I popped in at Stick or Twist during lunch time for a meal and it was really nice. Inside was bright and spacious with plenty areas for small or large groups to sit comfortably to enjoy their meal. The staff were very friendly and some were observed deligently cleaning areas used by patrons who had just left so I was most comfortable at the facilities knowing that all precautions were taken to keep us safe in these times. My colleagues with the app ordered their food and drinks and it was brought very quickly. I had to wondered over to the bar to place my order but that too was easily done and my food too was brought quickly. Thanks to the bars staff for allowing me to adjust my order slightly from the set menu as I didn't eat one of the items within my menu order. It was done with no fuss. I will be popping in often when I am in the office as it is so close and service is quick so that I didn't have to extended my lunch period to enjoy a lively meal. Do drop in and enjoy these new facilities.

Huge Wetherspoons near First Direct Arena and Merrion Centre. No private car park or on street parking but Merrion Centre across road has multistorey car park. Be warned when an event at the Arena empties out it can take a couple of hours just to get out of the car park.

Listen. It's a spoons. It's cheap, they're basically all the same. The staff are nice, service is fast, what more can you want? I have to dock a star because this used to be my favourite spoons in the city before they knocked it down and rebuilt it, and now it just doesn't feel the same as it used to. The vibe feels different, it feels way too boujee. All the glass. No thanks. I like the nod to the old place with the obnoxious carpet but honestly, it just doesn't give you the pub feel that it used to. It feel like the most uncomfortably fancy spoons of all of them in the city now, and that's just not the Stick or Twist, honestly.

This has to be one of the 'better' Wetherspoons in Leeds. Looks very modern, clean and spacious. Some of our other Wetherspoons are 'dingy', and not enough light. Perfectly positioned for Leeds City Centre (behind Morrisons in the Merrion Centre) and especially for those who are visiting the Arena .. you are actually right next to it! Like I mentioned before, plenty of room inside, AND outside. Aswell as outdoor seating infront of the Pub, there is additional seating to the left hand side of the building .. a 'sun spot' actually! Definitely an improvement from the 'older' Stick or Twist .. and a very happy 'addition' to our other Wetherspoons in and around Leeds 😊
