Excellent. Sunday lunch was v good value. Loads of different veg, plus stuffing. Staff were very pleasant and attentive. Chicken in a bun looked good as well.

Good place to have lunch and dinner with friends, family or colleagues. It has good facilities. Outdoor seating available. I had Linguine Alfredo the veggie version as a main. The portion was good and big. I had come with colleagues for lunch. Friendly staff and great service.

My 1st time here and I was mpressed . I had the Spanish burger and chips. It came with a portion of coleslaw The 8 oz burger was thick rasty and it was juicy, the chips were very nice too

Lovely place, but staff were not very happy. Didn't seem like they wanted to be there and did not smile. One waitress however was helpful as I had forgotten to mention I was vegetarian on the afternoon tea and she quickly arranged me alternatives. Food was nice just a shame about friendliness, it needs to be said when working in hospitality as it changes the atmosphere.

Lovely dog friendly pub (dogs allowed outside and in the bar area). Food is amazing, service is good. My only negative is that you can’t book a dog friendly table online as the availability is for the restaurant only, and if you call they hardly ever answer, you won’t get a walk in table at the weekend !

A big thank you to everyone at The Boundary House for a fab night in the events room for our daughter's 30th. It was good to have 3 options of buffet to choose from with added extras to rather than just a set buffet menu, it allowed us to include vegetarian and gluten free options. We went for the Mediterranean option with a couple of extras and the food was excellent, fresh, tasty, inviting and plenty of it. Staff were very helful and friendly.

My wife and I called off as we were passing for a Saturday lunch. We were greeted as soon as we got in and shown to a table, asked about drinks if we wanted any (we just had a bottle of water) The menu had a good choice of dishes and reasonably priced for what we initially thought (it looked quite a posh place) We shared a Baked Camembert which was served with crostini and a red onion chutney, the waitress said that that one took a while to cook in the oven so not to worry about where it was. Mains were a Festive Stack burger which was a breaded chicken burger, stuffing, hash brown, pig in blanket plus the usual burger stuff, and a Bison burger which had cheese, mushrooms and the usual burger stuff. Both served with a choice of thick or thin chips, and a small pot of coleslaw. The Camenbert was excellent, nice and gooey, and when the burgers arrived they were excellent. I've never had a beef burger with such a solid consistency yet it was nice and juicy and very tasty. Similar reviews for the Festive stack, a monster of a burger but all high quality ingredients and well presented. Angela our waitress was nice and attentive, checking on the food etc, and bringing more water. Overall excellent experience, prices worked out about £20 each with a shared starter and the burger. Can't comment on drinks prices as we didn't have any. One last nice thing, when we were paying it seemed standard practice to ask if it was to be paid separately or all together which could save any embarrassment in someone asking if they were paying separately.

Absolutely love this place!!!! What's not to love!! Amazing range of spirits, wines, lagers and ales and some fantastic cocktails. A lovely snug area for drinks and a great beer garden with an outside bar and plenty of seating. The food!!!! I have never had a bad meal here! What an amazing selection, cooked fresh and everything tastes great. Tonight we had the chicken flat bread and the mushroom and chestnut pasta. Taste sensation! Fantastic service, quick, polite and the team always have a smile on their face. As for the pricing...spot on!!! I guarantee you won't find a better place for food and drinks and atmosphere in the area. Huge huge fan!! Of course I'll be back!! Oh and the Sunday Dinner.....amazing!!!!

Excellent Sunday dinner for meat eaters (i.e., me) - perfectly cooked beef, delicious yorkie and a lot of tasty sides including cauliflower cheese. Sadly no veggie option for those who like a roast, other than just the side dishes.

A really classy pub with good food, if a bit on the pricey side. The service is great with friendly and attentive staff. Lots of seating with a good bar and restaurant area (book in advance if going for food). There is also an extensive outside area with benches and a decking area

The food is very nice. More gastro-pub type food rather than pub grub & this is very much reflected in the price at an average of £17 for a main with extra charge of £3 for sides. Pretty pricey I think. Just one point to make. The Barnsley chop is not a Barnsley chop. It is a lamb chop. A Barnsley chop is cut across the saddle to give you two chops joined together! Sadly, only one chop was served. The grilled hake was delicious but the squid ink cracker was very disappointing. A blackened prawn cracker which was hard to bite & not tasty. Give me prawn crackers any day! The place itself is well decorated with a lovely outside area. Perfect for Summer!

Well just amazing.... We had a family meal tonight at what was a welcoming, stylish and friendly place. Cool decor, incredible fresh menu, fantastic staff and the BEST caramel tart you'll ever try... Thank you so much for making our Boxing day awesome. Even when my mum fainted (lack of food pre dinner) the staff were on it, not offended at our absolute panic and as she recovered (quickly) couldn't so anymore. Just fantastic... I left a message asking Boundary to ring me back so I could book over the phone. No call was forthcoming. I just wonder for those who don't have access to the Internet how they go about booking 🤔

Love having a drink in this little gem. It's modern and welcoming. Having said that, the menu is very limited (and maybe a little pretentious) and the food is overpriced. The staff are friendly enough though and the atmosphere is light and enjoyable and I like the fact the music isn't too loud so at least we can have a conversation and hear each other.

Such a nice pub with great staff. The garden is very nice and a great area to socialise in. However they’ve recently changed the menu slightly. I ordered a chicken dish and all that came was a small chicken thigh and one carrot for £15. Wasn’t filling at all. I hope they change this.

Menu has improved and several tasty lite bites can be had in the bar area. Great decor and a very nice outside area. Let down by a very cloudy and sour tasting Wainwright's. 1st time I've ever had a bad pint of this. Several very drunk people in the bar area with feet on the furniture. Surprised a bar manager didn't stop this. Won't rush back which is a shame due to its convenient (for me) location.

Just been for afternoon tea to celebrate my friends birthday and it was delicious. My friend has special dietary requirements and a lovely lady called Angela came to discuss what we wanted and how she could help to tailor things to ensure we had an enjoyable meal. The food was varied and freshly made, in fact the scones were still warm. All the dessert items were outstanding (especially the scones and carrot cake) so much so we bought extra to take home. We have also brought home some sample menu's covering the variety of meals they do for future reference. I would highly recommend a visit. The staff are efficient, welcoming and very friendly. I will certainly go again.

Our party of 4 had Sunday lunch at the Boundary House 10/5/15/. Our first visit there and the place is very nicely decorated and spotless. All the staff were very accommodating and friendly. The food was really nice, cooked to perfection in my opinion although the portions are small. £12 95 for the roast with 3 small potatoes and veg. The home made Yorkshire puddings are the best I have tasted but I don't think the portions are suffice for the price. The main meal is not enough to fill a person on its own and I don't over eat, I would suggest a starter or sweet in order to feel content. Starters are £5.00 and sweets are £5 50. I would go again but not on a weekly basis, a special occasion maybe.

We went for a meal for my 70th. There were 3 of us and all our meals were gorgeous!!!!!!!! The only downside and I am not picking is that I asked for a jug of water apart from the alcohol and it failed to materialize. I asked another waitress who promptly brought us one. Food overcooked, not horrendously but for the money, not really worth it. Kept being told (min 3 times) that there was a party of 20 so if we didn't want to wait we'd be best ordering sooner. Doesn't make for a relaxing evening, and even though I get it that they're trying to be helpful, it just has the effect of making you feel 2nd class. Someone needs to go on a hotelier / hospitality course. And if you're the manager reading, please take this on board as it's bordering on rudeness. To be honest, we weren't in a rush and it wouldn't have made a difference. Steak was cooked quite well, got to admit but the balsamic-type sauce underneath was unavoidable and spoiled the taste of the meat. Let me choose please. Nice try, Boundary, nice place, staff good apart from the bit mentioned above but no, not worthy of a revisit. Did I mention the above on the night? No, they were too busy with the table of 20 ;)

Great and speedy service. Very attentive. It does get busy so would always recommend booking in advance - the online system is very simple to use. The car park is tiny so don't drive - get a taxi and enjoy the great atmosphere with a nice bottle of wine.

Nice relaxed atmosphere, gets busy in the summer months as they have a lovely outdoor area. They do outdoor cooking too and last year they had little shawls in a basket so on an evening you could still enjoy being outside. Lovely little place, friendly staff :)

Recently went for Afternoon tea to celebrate some friends birthdays. Even though we had booked in advance and had been told it would be possible to have a dairy free portion, as one of the party has a allergy to cow's milk, when we arrived we were told this was not possible. They were offered alternatives from the menu but as that resulted in them sitting there with entirely different food to the rest of the party it did spoil their enjoyment. Staff werent that helpful and one member was quite rude using offensive language to other members of staff within our hearing. The food was excellent and good portion sizes but just got the feeling they weren't going to put themselves out to cater for everyone which is disappointing as it was for someone with allergies.

Me and my 2 friends and baby went. 2 of us had the early bird 2 courses for £14 or 3 for £17. Fish cakes andchorizo in red wine. I really enjoyed the fish cake. The chorizo was nice but very rich! Main linguine with capers and olives and sausage and mash with bubble and squeak. There was a lot of pasta. And 3 big sausages lots of mash. But the rest was spring onions and peas. I think I found 2 bit of cabbage. My other friend had the mini loaf that comes out warn with olives and oil. It was so cute and tasted lovely. Burger for main. £1.95 for a lemonade. So in all £16 and came away stuffed and satisfied. X
