Reviews of The Duck & Drake
I.
Duck & Drake is an ace pub. Great location, dead close to Leeds city center.
It's a spacious pub that has two separate rooms with the bar in between.
Classic old fashioned interior with a fireplace creates a warm and welcoming environment which makes the pub even better in the winter season. There is also a beer garden if you love a tab or the weather is nice.
Great selection of cask and keg beers. I personally had a pint of Yankee from Roosters brewery on cask - top notch pint!
Staff members had a good knowledge of beers and were really friendly. The people there in general were nice - no nonsense, everyone's chill and cool.
The place has no cons - overall it's a great pub and I would highly recommend to all beer lovers,

Love this Pub. Great atmosphere with friendly staff and superb ale! Every time we go to Leeds we head here.Great beer garden and seating roadside as well. The Old Peculiar on draught Is Superb. And they make tasty pork pies to. Live music on some weekends I believe.

Second visit to this place and loved it. Some would call it a traditional spit and sawdust type of pub and they wouldn't be far wrong but it makes such a change from the modernist type places that seem to sprout up all over town. Great selection of ales but even better is the live entertainment. Saw "So what" from Stockton last night and for a 3 piece band they make such an excellent sound, check them out!
Well done Duck & Drake!!

I went in on Saturday 1st time I'd been in in many years a bit of a shock nice pub but the prices was expensive for 2 pints nearly £9 Service was great and a nice beer garden but I'll give it a miss in future.since my last visit when I criticised the price I must apologise I went in yesterday and got 2 pints for less than £7 it was my mistake the 1st time I chose 2 of the most expensive 1s they had.the duck and drake is a good pub with an excellent choice of beers and lagers and spirits. And to top it all off a real log fire wich was welcoming on such a cold night. I definitely will be going in again

Still a favourite haunt! Quality beers and service.
And the band tonight were fab: The Invisible Sons. All covers that you know, excellently recreated... look out for them🙃🍻

Great traditional boozer good selection of real ales very well kept with an open fire and Piano and beer garden.
Great playlist of metal from 70's and 80's. Live music on certain nights.
Beer ca however be on the pricey side.

The music and vibe of the pub was spot on. The ale as you can tell has been cleaned with care. Can't wait to go again

A great pub at any time. A good mix of real ales and a pork pie or two goes down well. Also a venue for live bands and gets some good ones.
