Reviews of The Hop
J. W.
Nice laid back place to spend time with friends and have a pint.If you like pizza you can also get half price off from the place next door if you tell them your drinking in the Hop.Only downside was it's cold so wrap up!!
D. H.
Large and lively bar. Good beer from Ossett brewery and top class pizza's at a great price. Nice outside seating area for when the weather is fine.
C. M.
A good selection of drinks, friendly staff in an imaginatively repurposed old building.
j. d. (.
The bar staff were absolutely brilliant!!! I reserved a table for 14 people and they sorted it out in less than 24 hours. Friendly, sorted us out all through the night and made it a great night. Cheers guys!!
T. G.
Hidden part of the city, but a pleasant setting for good beer and music thats close to bother the rest (upper) station entrance / exit and thr Hilton. Average prices with a good selection of beers, wine and sprites. Joined to Archies Bar and along with a selection of other restaurants, this is a nice part of time.
J. B.
Amazing bar as always. Staff always happy to give their advice on the different beers on offer. Would highly recommend.
M. C.
One of my favourite bars in leeds.. great setting, great staff and great service.. highly recommend a visit next time your in leeds.. 😎😎🍺🍺
N. C.
Friendly service. Top notch beer and simple food menu based around pies. Perfect.
M. W.
Great pub/bar. Great range of beers from Ossett brewery. Great food and friendly staff.
Interestingly decorated.
Highly recommended.
D. H.
In the Dark Arches under platform 17 of Leeds Station. Good range of cask ales. Owned by Ossett Brewery but other ales sold as well. Low priced Pie and Peas. Although newish still full of old fashioned character. Ale always well kept and great staff.
A.
Stopped for an early evening beer before getting the train. (Very convenient for the station)
Great venue with great music playing at the time. Staff friendly and everywhere in the pub was clean.
S. “.
Awesome pub, with great beer in a brilliant location! Perfect first place for a beer if you arrived by train.
T. W. (.
The bar is in a unique location and offers indoor and outdoor seating, not sure about the outdoor seating during winter though! It has a good selection of beer at a reasonable price considering it is a bar in the city. The band was great and it was unique to watch them from the ground floor whilst they performed on the mezzanine floor.
L. G.
Great cover band, very reasonable town prices (for beer)
D. S.
Excellent beers, great late evening atmosphere. Only issue was slow service, but it was busy
D. P.
Nice place but it seems covid has taken its toll on the bar staff, is as if they had forgotten how to serve, stood 3 ppl deep for about 5 mins which is standard and then it took 20 mins to be served, numerous staff ignoring myself and other people next to me and serving people who had just turned up at the opposite end of the bar. Finally got served and managed to get a table so used app for next round, they didn't check the app orders and after waiting 45 mins a friend took my phone with the order to the bar to see if they had received the order only to be told "we don't check that anymore, you're better off ordering at the bar"
Poor show really.
Having said that the ale was fresh and a decent pint. Worth a visit for the location and I imagine the service will get better over time once back into the wing of things but wasn't very pleased on this occasion..
D. H.
Stayed on the hotel opposite so went in twice. Very impressed with the service. Furniture though a bit duff
A. D.
Very tasty and menú have a reasonable price!
Well done guys...have a nice work
S. M.
Great pub, great staff, great beer. Nuff said.
L. C.
Great selection and good music. Nice place for a team get together
T. H.
A nice ambiance though it can take a while to get your drinks when its busy due to ordering through an app. Hopefully things will be back to normal soon. It has a very good selection of local beers to sample and plenty of seating.
M. T.
The Hop chain are my favourite places to go, and so are Ossett Brewery pubs in general. This place is brilliant though, in the dark arches and overlooking the dock. Really cool to hear the trains going overhead. Great selection of beers, good prices, can't go wrong. Archie's next door is run by the same people too if you're wanting a meal.
G.
Great pub with a good selections of drinks. The pies were fantastic too!
P. M.
Great beer and atmosphere especially match days
A. E.
Fab live music and delicious pizzas. Lovely staff. Great atmosphere too. Love this place.
E. W.
Sat inside today, not a great choice for a cider drinker like myself. As it was quiet inside and relatively empty it lacked atmosphere. Can imagine if it was busy and had a live music that would make a difference. Prefer the one in Wakefield.
N. “. G.
Lovely service, great music and awesome choice in Alcohol ❤️
I. G.
Quick stop over from the station. Great selection of beers.
D. S.

Fantastic range of beers, great atmosphere

Great choice of beers and food
P. G.
Great place for a drink and a bite to eat located at Granary Wharfe at Leeds waterfront. Good selection of Ales, friendly staff and live music on certain evenings. Recommended.
t.
Not much seating for groups bigger than 4
S. B.
We wanted to have a drink prior to having food at Fazenda and the hop didn't disappoint, I tried a raspberry beer and loved it, atmosphere outside in the sun was great.
M. S.
Came across as a bar with an identity crisis not sure if it was supposed to be a club or a pub
D. C.
For location is about £1 a drink cheaper than some other bars in the same area
t.
Not much seating for groups bigger than 4
J. B.
Great bar with a great beer selection, with polite staff.
Can get quite busy throughout the evening, but getting served never seems to take too long.
Has a variety of live music on at the weekend which is always a plus in my eyes.
Due to its positioning near the train station it can occasionally attract some yobbish louts, but they don't usually stay long.
L. J.
This is a lovely place for a drink. A little expensive for leeds but a good choice. We went for quiz on Tuesday and they do free pizza, not vegan though. Good and interesting questions. The fire alarm went off and we weren’t sure what to di and it turns out neither were the staff! Overall good experience.
A. S.
Decent bar - good atmosphere.
S. B.
Friendly staff, good food, nice pint & great atmosphere. Thats all you need. Would highly recommend.
W. (.
Great real ale pub and live music.
G. W.
Great music, great ale, great time.....
S. R.
The Hop is a really nice place to enjoy a few beers and has a good vibe. Unfortunately the sound system is beyond awful so going to listen to bands, that you know from experience of hearing them elsewhere are excellent, is a complete disappointment and disrespectful to the customer and the performers. It's a shame but after repeated let downs I will go elsewhere for live music in future
R. B.
Brilliant place. Can't beat the 'pie hole' at the Hop, where you get a pie, mash, gravy, peas and a pint from Ossett Brewery for £6. And they're top quality pies as well, from Andrew Jones of Huddersfield. Fantastic place, great atmosphere, and excellent food. Always go here when in Leeds.
S. H.
What a great place to have a beer
P. W.
Good real ales, very friendly and helpful staff. Food is good no nonsense fare.
J. B.
Great spot for pre meal drinks. The outside area is nice and big and drinks are well priced
C. K.
Really good bar and the band on Saturday night was awesome. Really lively place , staff are nice and polite and they have a good selection of real ales and other spirits and good prices too. Will go again
J. 2.
This is a cracking place! Great atmos, great selection of beers and ciders etc. Also is a brilliant little live music venue.
G. B.
Glad to see the Hop open not been in for 2 years Pint of Ossett Pie and peas Mash and Gravy £7 spot on
M. T.
Really nice bar. Good beer selection. Always call when I'm in the area
S. T.
Great beer, good music, excellent pie and pint deal - though sometimes the youths who run the bar let too many customers get the better of them.
R. M.
Love this place for drinks .
We always start our sunday trip to leeds here usually have the pie ,mash and pint deal .Good choice of real Ale to go with the food as part of the deal.sadly thus this doesn't extend to cider .
L. H.
Dog friendly bar. And very human friendly too 😆. Great selection on draught. Fab outdoor seating area 👍👍👍
G. W.
The Hop never disappoints especially if you like Ossett brewery beers
I. P.
Everything was fine other than the soap had run out in the Gents toilet
P. T.
Very nice food and good beers. Staff were friendly and helpful.
N. V.
Good selection of quality beers.
P. E.
Great choice of beers and food
A. H.
Nice bar with a small selection of ales and really good pies. Good value.
S. S.
Chilled and quiet when we went, not many people there. Quick service once figured out how to order on phone too.
J. G.
A fantastic pub in a lovely location
K. C.
Really nice place, mainly quite dark inside with a small outside area by the canal. Does a £5 pie and pint offer durinfmg the day. Good selection of beers including Ossett.
A. B.
Very nice place to have a pint. Outdoor seating too. Live music, what's not to like about all that?
P. T.
Nice beer selection, some good tunes and a nice atmosphere on a quiet afternoon.
S. J.
There was no live music and presumably as it was still early relatively early evening, the clientele had not become too raucous. Therefore we were able to hear each other speaking i.e. without having to shout into each others ears or attempt lip reading (something I can't do). Wonderful, may there be more locations in the same state as the Hop.
C. H.
Great beer. Decent food (it's a pie but it's good). Service is consistently awful. Lots of bar staff but dealing with 1 person buying a drink and 1 pie should not take the 3-4mins it took. There were 4 people in our group and it took a good 10+ minutes to serve us all
L. &. L. t. b. K. A.
Fab place staff great plenty of choice for drinks attracts a friendly crowd.
t. h.
Nice pub, decent range of drinks, good service, well worth a visit for a pre match beer or 3 before getting a bus to the footy ground on lufc match days.
D. N.
Great pub with really good atmosphere, great selection of beers and ales, and some good for options. The decor is really good too. An excellent option if you want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city.
B. G.
Nice pub with a great selection of beers and nice atmosphere
J.
Good pub with a good choice of quality beers a d the pies are very tasty but it takes an age to get served even when the pub is not that busy.
S. B.
It's okay... Good beer selection but very expensive. It's also just a bit new. And while it probably can't be helped, the whole pub and the wider area just seen to lack a bit of authenticity, like it's pretending to be a pub rather than just being one. I'm probably overthinking it. It's alright
S. I.
Nice bar with excellent selection of local beer as well as more usual selection
L. F.
Excellent, friendly city centre bar.
Great beer and attentive staff.
N. R.
Good choice of beers. Very cheap food, but basic. Worth a visit for the beer and surroundings.
T. B.
Nice bar in Granary Wharf, under the arches which serves great pies with mash, peas & gravy. Service can be a tad slow at lunch times due to only a few members of staff working at that time but worth a visit nonetheless
W. C.
Great selection of beer, but the music is far too loud for my liking.
R. K.
It's just ok, should be great but lacks atmosphere. When the bands are on you go deaf due to the acoustics in there, or maybe the space is just too small for really loud guitar bands.....
r.
Great atmosphere if a little dingy. Good selection of beers and plenty of space. Good value pie & a pint deal.
J. K.
Perfectly good pub with great pizza. However, I prefer somewhere less crowded (so they are doing something right!) and not keen on Ainsty ales of which they have the full range.
a. s.
First time I've ever been. Good beer choice, and they even do pies and mash, would highly recommend
D. H.
Excellent pint, pizza's were good and the chips too, service and beer knowledge good
L. S.
Decent pub, can't go wrong with ever changing local ales and a pork pie
D. H.
Nice pub, Ossett beers, outside seating area, good music.
J. T.
Our last stop after three days cycling for a celebratory drink in the sunshine before we cycled the last 10mile to Wakefield.Service would've been better had we not had to order our coffee at a different place to our beer and soft drinks. The lady collecting the glasses was very nice and friendly.
J. C.
Nice setting, good atmosphere, good selection of beers. Will be there again
S. B.
Love this place! A great choice of beer and a cozy atmosphere
J. I.
Great pub good range of drinks and nice atmosphere
D. W.
Good selection of beers but terrible music and the staff were more interested in their own comedy routines than offering quality service.
M. G.
Superb for live music on Friday/Saturday. Bit soulless otherwise. Good beer selection.
O. I.
Good standard pub, wide selection of beers and great entertainment.
S. J.
Nice friendly pub. Live bands quiz night good beer that normal people can afford give it and it's sister pubs a try three all in same area.
C. R.
Used to have a great selection of beers but now it's the same average stuff. Only really go in for a pre-match pint. Pies still good though!
P. B.
I enjoyed the short amount of time I spent here. I had banana bread bear or banoffee beer, something like that. It seemed nice inside (we sat out in the sun). The staff were friendly and chatty and gladly recommend drinks for us to try.
c. v.
A very good pie and pint deal for 6 quid including mash and peas. Pint of blonde also went down well. Cannot go wrong for a lunchtime.
P. T.
First time in loved it good choice of beers will be returning next time a band is on
D. W.
Good pub but the bar wait is probably a bit longer than most. Gets busy quickly.
C. H.
Great beer. Great food. From past experience I know the pies are amazing (with creamy mash and peas) but this time I opted for the pizza which was new on the menu (to me anyway I've not been in a while). It certainly filled a very large pizza shaped hole! Divine! The large are great for an adult and the small for a light bite etc. The atmosphere is great and the staff are fantastic! A credit to the waterfront
M. E.
Really nice bar. Great outside space for those hot summer days!
N.
Nice pub. Very well priced pie and a pint.
p. g.
Always a good pint if you love the local Ossset brews.
J. C.
Great bar, under the railway arches. Good music & atmosphere.
S. K.
Good selection of real beer, good atmosphere. Pie & a pint excellent value. It's my 'after-work' pub of choice.
A.
Love this bar. Great atmosphere and selection of bars. Live music is fantastic.
L. M. S. P.
Nice busy bar food is so so plenty of drinks to chose from
D. M.
Nice little place tucked under station good selection only complain being when it got busy a big crowed waiting yet ladies came up to the side of us and we're immediately served before we were
R. B.
Always a good place to go for a beer. Handy rendezvous location for meeting people with nice decor and a good atmosphere. Great outside seating area for having a pint and watching the world go by.
R. R.
Great ales, good music and amazingly price pie n peas!!
G. H.
Great pub very lively I only went for the beer🤓🤓
R. T.
First time I've been in here and what a great pub for all your traditional beers/IPA and to top it off was the food Pie, Mash & Peas or Beans can't beat it. I will be bk soon now I know about it.
G.
Great selection of beers and tasty pizzas just when you need them...!!!!
M.
Really good atmosphere, great choice of beers too.
B. L.
Busy Ossett pub near canal. Back of station
J. L.
Great atmosphere and a fantastic selection of different drinks on offer.
Perfect for summer drinking.
L. W. T.
just a great pub.great beer . brilliant in summer near the canal.
J. W.
Great choice of drinks and authentic local bar.
H. S.
Good selection of beer and good quality, the price isn't horrendous either (not cheap though). Just feels a bit soulless to me, the lights were very dim when I was in as well. There's trying to create an atmosphere and then there's not being able to see adequately.
J. J.
Nice place, great pie deal, not so keen on the Osset Brewery ales
G. H.
Excellent drinks, pasties and pies, good cosy atmosphere to enjoy relaxed time. I would heartily recommend this restaurant as a stop in the busy city.
D. L.
Great location, choice of ales and atmosphere. Oh and reasonably priced.
C. B.
Really good pub serving a wide range of ales at great prices
j. s.
Good range of SALT beers and handy for Fazendas!
B. C.
Fab pub, great selection of beers and now do a Sunday pie roast! Amazing!
D.
Great bar, always a good choice of ales. £5 for a pie and pint offer as well is brilliant.
A. F.
Great pub, good selection of rale ales. Nice atmosphere. We always meet up here due to its location to the train station
L. G.
Nice bar enjoyed my visit when I last went. There was a live band on upstairs, quite lively. And has the benefit for any rail passengers of a brand new entrance to get up to the platform in the arches
G. P.
Terific afternoon on a stag day, much enjoyed, great place, and very atmospheric......x
A. B.
Great bar, nice atmosphere great 🍻
S. B.
Great live music and a proper selection of ale and beers. Bit crowded but shows it's popularity.
w. t.
Cool place n busy coz just next to train station. Lovely vibes n nice atmosphere but lil darkness killing its beauty. Variety of ok drinks, big double story space n outdoor seating making it more appealing. Service is cool n staff is attentive. Still enjoyed my time there. Hope come back soon
M. P.
Brilliant pub live music fantastic ale selection and friendly staff.
J. D.
Good pub, always live music on when I've been. Can get a little busy, but closes quite early. 11pm if I remember rightly, which is just odd.
D. S.
Great place not cheap but still had a great night and the live band were brilliant
n. m.
A place to for a good bite and drinks. The food is good and the staff is very friendly. Bob in lunchtime for a good meal or after work for a couple of drinks to unwind.
R. F.
Good choice of beers but generally not enough staff to cope with demand at the bar.
R. L.
The Hop continues to be fab. Great selection of beers. Buzzin atmosphere. Live music. 👌
m.
Cheap pie and beer offers. Good atmosphere.
D. G.
Always no complaints having a drink here. Great location
L. B.
Great beer and a great pizza. Lovely place to hang
P. G.
Good local craft beers great setting in the arches
B. t. W.
Went here for a friend's birthday, and I was impressed. The choice of beers / ales and ciders on offer was very good, and I was pleasantly surprised at the price of a round; 3 pints and 3 halves came to just over £15.00. The barman was friendly and happily discussed the choice of ciders with me when I couldn't make my mind up. Good atmosphere too.
R. J. C.
Excellent bar with Live Music.. Brilliant Night Out..!!
G. W.
Thus is a lovely, well decorated place with good outdoor seating. They have an excellent selection of well kept real ale but the prices are a little high and they do not do camra discount
a. l. l. c. k. c. l.
Great bar especially for couples 40+ Saturday nights are great when there's a good ban on. Check the gig guide online then Google the band to see if their right for you.
B. F.
Great beer and very often live music. Good stuff.
J. G.
Good range of beer and cider. Nice outside area. Great for a sneaky one before home.
G.
Good choice of beers, nice atmosphere and grrat location. Music was far too loud for 5 on a wednesday evening and staff werent very engaging.
R. L.
Brilliant venue great music and top class atmosphere when we visited a while ago
P. B.
Good variety of beers, lots of space to sit and stand inside and outside. Pizzas and meet pies available. Atmosphere laoud but calm. Worth to visit.
J. D.
Nice ambience, good bands, plenty of beers to choose from. Not too expensive either. Definitely worth a visit. Especially if you have just arrived at Leeds train station as it's underneath it!
C. D.
Good pub Good pint 👍
P. S.
Good beer and nicely lit, not too bright and good music
l. t.
Good place , great choice of drinks had a great night.
d. s.
Good selection of beers. Nice for a quick pint.
S. C.
Nice atmosphere and the £5 deal for food can't be missed. Was a bit crowded with post-work workers.
A. R.
Fantastic food good service moretti on tap.
Lovely
S. S.
Great bar with live music and drink selection
T. S.
Nice bar with good range of local brews, very handy for the station.
T. N.
Right under leeds railway station in the old dark arches vaulted ceilings great selection of ossett brewery beers good selection of wines spirits and cocktails serve food great atmosphere great for all ages groups
T. R.
Clean, staff ok, spacious, found a table for 4 with no problem on a Thursday night. 3 stars as prices were on the high side and no sign of bitter. Only larger on tap.
R. l.
Really great beer and lovely venue. Be careful about chatting in the upstairs arches; there is an acoustic anomaly up there where the people on the other side of the arch can hear you as if you were sat next to them.
B. B.
Good beer. Great atmosphere
R. D.
Great beer really good atmosphere.
A. H.
Great selection of beers from Otley brewery as well as guest ales and world lagers. Had the pie, mash, mushy peas and beer deal for £5 on a Wednesday night and it did the job perfectly. Staff were really friendly too
T. W.
Not a bad pub at all, located on old railway arches, under Leeds train station, An ossett brewery pub, decent beer, reasonable prices.
R. P.
Great pint. Good service. Near work.. Job done.
N.
Great bar with plenty of craft beers to choose from.
P. R.
Food is good and selection of beers is alright could do with quicker service at lunch and stocking more food as items always seem to be sold out!
D. M.
Fantastic selection of ales, great atmosphere and talented entertainment.
D. W.
Lovely old looking pub very clean and next to train station
P. B.
Pretty loud, decent beer, plenty of room. Probably not the best place for quite socialising but nice enough otherwise.
C. B.
Nice pub without the usual riff-raff.
C. H.
If you like live music it's a top venue.
S. B.
Fantastic selection of ales and ciders. Would be a 5 but for the knob at the bar pushing in and trying to get served before me and the barmaid who was about to serve him until I shouted up.
D. L.
A really nice pub / bar with good beers and a good atmosphere. Could do with a bit more music.
G. D.
Civilized, modern beer bar in central location with great selection of beers and a pizza oven. Fills up quick and lacks standing room, not great for groups larger than 4 unless you reserve a table.
M. M.
Very well priced, especially if you buy a pie with a pint
F. L.
I usually call in if I have missed my train for a quick half. Been in on nights out too, great place for a few drinks with friends.
S. C.
Great service and great tasting FRESH cooked food
A. S.
Love the pie and a pint for £5. Good beer good pie. usually good music. nice live music venue
B. W.
Busy sometimes but tasty, cheap beer for around 2 pounds a pint
J. S.
Great ambience and good selection of beers , great live bands x
A. P.
The best pies and beer. Great atmosphere.
J. H.
Fantastic place. Lovely beer especially Yorkshire Blond. Great pies too.
J. L.
Nice pub, nice beer at a good price and the pizza was good too! We entered the pub quiz which was good fun, though we seemed to be sat in the worst place for hearing the questions. Complimentary slices of pizza during the quiz were appreciated by all!
D. B.
Great venue with some live music, right by the station.
A. D.
Nice place for a first date.
S. G.
It always seems to be buzzing no matter which night of the week you go. The drinks are good but you may end up holding yours as there are hardly any seating areas. Always good for a hangout on the way to dinner or after dinner before going dancing. Not seen anyone dancing there, even after having a few.
E. K.
It is a very hipster place. Graffiti across the walls, plenty of craft beers a lot of space and modern half-industrial design left me feeling in the right place. I enjoyed variety of ales they have on the tap. While it was a busy evening for them my group was able to find plenty of space upstairs to sit down and have a chat. It seemed like this place have got a really young soul. Will be coming back for more.
D. H.
Pleasant bar serving a good selection of beer.
j. a.
the pretty bartender, Jay, is cool
d. p.
Great beer good staff good prices
J. Y.
Smashing pub. Good outdoor seating. Quality Osset beers
D. H.
Good range of beers and good prices especially for a city centre bar. Good atmosphere too with friendly staff
J. H.
Great selection of beers, and a Pie and Pint for lunch for only a fiver. Badass!
N. A.
It would be 3* but the beers are worth an extra one! It's quite loud & always soooo busy. Also just a bit gloomy & the queue for the bar is always 4 people deep.
I. B.
Nice beers and pizza
I. C.
Great pub with a good range of drinks. Superbly situated on the canal side with access straight from the railway station.
A. P.
I love the place but, let's be honest, the acoustics are dire. Good beer, good food but badly let down by the ringing architecture. The live bands are usually good but don't sound as good as I know they usually sound.
N. S.
Lovely pub, great atmosphere. Can get quite busy but still a great place to go for a evening.
C. T.
Excellent pie. Good value. Good atmosphere. 5 stars.
A. W.
Great bar, great beer and live music.
S. M.
Great Bar situated under Leeds City train station, indoor and outdoor seating. Live music. Good food.
L. B.
Great beer selection. Lots of live music.
C. C.
Great beer selection, very nice food and great music. Very good live bands on weekends.
A. W.
£6 pie and drink remains excellent value. Decent selection of beers available as well.
T. H.
There is a good selection of drinks avaliable as well as a good food menu including a good selection of Pork Pies. It isn't the brightest of places, although there are seats outside when the weather is nice if you like to see what you're drinking. The bar can get busy particularly quickly but the staff are knowledgeable about the beverages they are serving.
e.
Like a traditional pub but in newish location a good selection of craft beers and a quite a few from local breweries
R. A.
On a good day like today, a good venue. When it's siling down it struggles. All beer i had today 5.5.18 good.

Always busy but I think it's at it best for that after work pint or two before you head off home. Carries the full range of Ossett Brewery beers plus a number of guests
g.
Always a great bar whether for a quiet ale after work, or a few more until closing!
J. A.
Good prices for Ossett brewery ales, and interesting archway location and a few community events, but very bland décor and terrible acoustics where the music is played too loud, echoing, so everyone is constantly having to shout, even in the afternoon.
D. A.
Nice place, has a fun quiz with free food every Thursday.
J. H.
Great atmosphere. Live singer on a wednesday. Drinks are reasonably priced too. Worth a visit.
B. B.

Busy real ale pub. Nice settings in the dock under the arches of the train station.
L. B.
A good stop off near the train station (next to the alternative entrance at platform 17). Serves a mean pie, beans/peas, mash and gravy for £3.50 (£5 with a drink) which isn’t to be sniffed at.
Their pub quiz is supposed to be worth checking out too.
j. B.
Very helpful staff and great beers.
A. S.
Pie mash and beer offer for a fiver is awesome value. Very quick to as they are served precooked. Tasty too, if you want value, a tasty pie and in a rush this is the place to go.

Pie & drink combo is winner, even though they’ve change supplier and out their prices up...still good!
S. M.
An Ossett Brewery Pub with their usual range of beers. Silver King is my personal favourite. The location is fantastic especially in summer. They often put live music on which gives the bar a great atmosphere.
J. K.
OK... Nothing special and beer can be hit and miss.
D. T.
Average pub with average beers in decent location
K. M.
Music being played was a perfect play list of mid 2000's joy. Great selection on draught. Fantastic!
T. C.
Still do a good pie and a pint. Gone up a pound since I last visited. £6 for the deal.
D. B.
Having to use the app to get your drinks is a pain, otherwise it's ok 👍🍺🍺
S. C.
Should have more variety of beers on draft given its a brewery led pub.

N. D.
Big bar owned by Ossett brewery with their own beers and guest ones. Used to have live music on a Friday night but don't seem to any more. Very noisy, probably due to being in a railway arch. Large outdoor seating area looking out onto the canal basin.
i. s.
Funky little bar selling ales coffee and food set under a railway arch in granary wharf

10:10pm on a Sunday. It's quiet and there's no food but the guy at the bar is friendly and knows his beers. Beer selection is 10/10... Open until midnight and there's plenty of comfy seats. Hendrix is playing in the background. Will be back tomorrow.

M. H.
Mostly ales, but a nice and cosy atmosphere, at a central location.
G. L.
Nice ales but seemed to run out of quite a few while we were there. Nice ambience
D. W.
The beer selection is definitely focused on a lot of pale ales and IPAs from Ossett, but there are usually a few other choices from the sister Rat Brewery. Nice traditional feel, but it's very dark upstairs, feeling more like a rock bar.
R. C.
Pizza was alright, the Yorkshire Blonde beer was the saving grace. Staff were quite social amongst themselves but not with the general public.
J. S.
Great place and great live music.
S. G.

J. E.
Excellent place, loved the atmosphere.
S. G.
Great value pie and peas, good beer, friendly staff
O. H.
A wide variety of great beer
T. B.
Plenty of local brews and cask ales. The building is U shaped making the bar hard to access and the toilets are up a long exposed flight of stairs so everybody sees your walk of shame. This place (when in full swing) is nothing but older white fellas enjoying a good pint and talking about proper bloke stuff. Not too inviting to outsiders or anyone not from't north ap'n.
T. P.
Great beer selection. Great atmosphere. Love it.
R. B.
Nice pint weather good enough to sit outside and a lively after work crowd.
D. F. (.

Nice place, sometimes busy though

I would have given it 4 stars however I find the music too loud. It makes holding a conversation harder than it needs to be.

M. M.
Seems to be aligned to Ossett Brewery. This bar is set in one of the many arches underneath Leeds railway station, indeed there is a handy link stairway to the platforms nearby. Can seem a tad gloomy inside, or atmospheric if you prefer... Plenty of choice of cask ales, plus good value food to go with it. Out front there is plenty of seating by the waterside.
M. S.
Good pub pie, peas and mash plus a drink for £5.
B. R.

You can't go wrong with the Pie-Fiver deal. Pint, pie, mash, peas and gravy, all for £5.
Decent range of ales.
Interesting pub residing in one of the high arches under Leeds City rail station. Make sure you pop upstairs to get a closer look.
Outside seating area looking on to the canal waterside, away from the traffic.
Close to Leeds rail station south entrance, which is a bonus.
M. P.
Love the bar a really good selection of real ales.
R. J.
