Highly recommend. I don't drink alcohol so I can't rate the beer. Very nice. Outside especially in this lovely hot summer heat. Located on the edge of Horsforth off Broadgate lane.

Had a party upstairs here and it was lovely. Cal was a pleasure to deal with and made sure everything was spot on when planning and on the day. Food options are simple and delicious. Guests commented on how great the venue was. Would definitely recommend and would choose again if we had occasion for a celebration.

The Malt was a fantastic venue for our party of 30; great communication in the build-up to the event and the team were so accommodating and welcoming on the night. Fantastic pizzas at a good price and the function room upstairs is perfect for a gathering of up to 50 people. We will be back, thank you to all of the team who worked on Friday and looked after us so well - your service was excellent!

Brilliant bar with a great atmosphere. All the staff are really friendly and welcoming. Lovely food menu and a great selection of drinks, especially the 241 cocktails. Would definitely recommend 😊👍🏻

Outstanding Pizza. Probably best Pizza I've ever had (and I've tried a few.....in Italy, USA, other part of Europe and the UK..although not a conesure) Also great selection of craft beers on tap, very well kept. Process very reasonable. Nice pub interior and very accommodating bar staff.

Went in with my sister for a quick pint. Loved the atmosphere, loved the decor. It was a rainy evening so we didn't experience the outdoor but it looks like it would be lovely in summer. Staff were very helpful when deciding what to drink. would definitely go back

Just sitting in this really fab pub and enjoying the atmosphere but above all the amazing food. We both had pizzas and they were just the best ever. The pizza chef really knows what he is doing here, crispy bases and just the right amount of toppings, all excellent quality. The oven is obviously very hot and the result was better than anything we have eaten in Italy and knocks spots off all the big name pizza companies that we genuinely try to avoid! My wife is a Food Tech teacher and she gave the pizzas 100% top marks. Good luck, we are only in Leeds for the weekend and my prior research in finding a good pub came up trumps this time. PS the pizza maker was called Joshua and if I was his boss I’d be giving him a pay rise or at least a bonus. Drinks were good too, but pizzas were star of the show.

Great bar, I absolutely love the refurb. It's a really refreshing space with fantastic staff that really know what they're doing. I always feel looked after and if I'm struggling to choose there's always helpful suggestions sent my way. The food is fantastic, the feta potatoes and chorizo go great together - my go to every time! Keep up the good work guys, hands down my favourite bar in Leeds.

We used this as a venue for my friends baby shower. I have to say it was a lovely room, the food was excellent and the staff could not have been more helpful. They bent over backwards to ensure we had a good experience. They were very flexible with dietry requirements and even helped me set the room up. Thanks Malt Brewhouse for a wonderful day.

This is a solid bar. What strikes me most about it is that it is very comfortable and the staff were very welcoming. Great choice of beers on tap. We didnt eat but they have a fantastic pizza over and I will be back for one of those!

Nice restaurant and pizzas. Only trouble is having a 10 y.o. with. Nowhere on the website noticed a warning that children must be out by 7pm. Our booking was for 6 p.m. but running late I phoned and advised we will be about 10 minutes late. After arrival, getting drinks and looking at the menu we only got to order around 6.30pm and only then advised children only allowed until 7pm. Food arrived 6.50pm but as the restaurant area was quite empty we thought it was no problem. Staff came to tell us it was time to leave at 7.25pm because we had a child with us. We thought this was not necessary, especially having no notice before or at arrival of this fact and it not being busy.

Great pub with lots of drink options. We went to play shuffleboard on a Friday afternoon which was great! Nice chilled atmosphere and friendly staff. Didn't eat there but the food they were preparing smelt amazing. Also have full sized pool table which we wanted to play but didn't have time, so we'll be back!

**Edit** I was hungry and annoyed when I wrote this review and would like to add :- The place itself is great. Nice beers and pizzas are good value. Great atmosphere ! Just to be aware that they stop serving food before 9 even tho advertised. We went in after been to Granville’s ( which also is the same company ) at 8.50 to be told kitchen had closed. If we’d known we’d have gone elsewhere. A very hungry reviewer

Not a bad pub and has a nice beer selection. The malt american pale cask ale was tasty but ice ice cold, it seemed far too chilled for a cask ale. Some of the staff were pretty rude and condescending as well. In general, we got a sense the place is trying too hard to be hipster & trendy and forgot about the basics of a good Yorkshire pub. This was mainly concluded from the staffs attitudes which then created a slightly uncomfortable atmosphere for me and my friends. We will come back again though and hopefully have a more pleasant experience with the staff, will update star rating pending this next visit.

An amazing place with an amazing atmosphere. The beer selection was on point and the cocktails were fantastic! Nothing will surpass my shuffleboard experience, and despite experiencing an infuriating loss, I still had an amazing night. Thank you malthouse!

Plenty of beers to choose from and the food was very nice. Tried the pizza and the meatballs and was very impressed. Lots of seating and large screen TVs for the football and Grand Prix. Will definitely be returning and would recommend to locals and anybody visiting from near or far.

Really nice place in Horsforth. The beer is excellent, the food is great but the menu isn't very extensive. Also there isn't a car park so you have to park on the road

Have visited the pub a few times and always had a good experience. My son had his wedding reception in the function room and again this was a pleasant experience. The food was excellent. The only thing I could fault was the lack of enthusiasm from a member of the upstairs bar staff.

We recently held a birthday party at Malt Brewhouse. We wanted to put on pizzas and Ryan was really helpful in the run up in helping us to decide how many for catering purposes. Ryan, the kitchen and the bar staff were great on the day - all our guests absolutely loved the pizzas (including our gluten free guest who was catered for with no problem at all). The party went perfectly and we’d definitely recommend here for an event, drinks or food!

My first time at The Malt Brewhouse and I will definitely be coming back. The drinks were lovely and the food was even better (especially the camembert 😍). It was even nicer to finish the night with a complementary cocktail from Meg. We will certainly be returning for more. I know how hard bar work can be and wouldn't have known Meg was training if she hadn't have told us! A wonderful evening all round 🙂

Went here on Tuesday evening for cocktails for my dad’s birthday. Couldn’t fault the food or drinks but the attitude of the barmaid was awful. She gave us such a dirty look when we ordered the cocktails and didn’t smile once. Clearly didn’t want to be there and made us feel like an inconvenience. Service will have to improve if we’re to try this place again I’m afraid.

Pleasant bar on the edge of Horsforth. They brew their own beers (although I've not tried them) but have a good selection of other beers. They do pizzas (again untried) and have TVs for sport. Definitely worth a visit.
