A.Apart from clientele publicly smoking weed in the beer garden (from what I can gather normally frequented by kids) this place was okay. The place is big enough for this not be an issue... but management should know about it and deal with it. Other than that, perfectly pleasant public house
A. W.Friendly place. We arrived and even though they were not doing food she offered to make us toasties which were very nice. The pub is quite large but we opted to sit outside in the beer garden as they were getting ready for an Hawaiian BBQ party. The pub had filled quite a bit by the time we left and there was a good atmosphere. Would definitely go again if in the area.

This pub has a well upstanding Landlord and Landlady, a great pub to socialize in. Very friendly bar staff, kids are welcome, it has weekend Entertainment and serves a breakfast menu, which im yet to try.... 💚🖒
S. H.If this is the pub on the A64, then it is under new management and they are slowly updating it. This will be a mammoth undertaking as it was so run down. At the time of the visit, they were not doing food but I think that has changed, as I have spotted a curry buffet banner. I also think that they are doing the odd live music nights. Need to visit again as it's quite local to me and I need a good pub within walking distance.

M. D. S.A very quaint and ambient pub that has changed hands for the better. The food is great, the atmosphere is at best that much better and the Staff are almost certainly there to cater for the Customers needs. Recommended.
