Decent sized with friendly and helpful staff. Quick service and interesting decor. Had to clean our own table before sitting but that's every spoons going isn't it? Car park is tiny but at least it has one.

Lovely venue, open firepit and cosy atmosphere. I only had a tea (free refills!) But my friend had breakfast and it was cold. Staff seemed nice, but no one asked if food was OK so visit ended on a flat note. I'll definitely go back though.

Great Wetherspoons that seems to be very family orientated. Alot bigger inside than it seems outside. Modern decor inside that has a very industry/brewery feel to it .Food as always is lovely and very good value for money.Only negatives are the hike to the upstairs toilet and the limited car parking .Well worth a visit if your in the area!!!!

Nice clean pub, breakfast was really nice, just please remove the tomato tops. Used the app to order as it's a lot quicker. Overall excellent place to eat would recommend it to anyone. They also have a nice outdoor area and even better it's divided into smoking and non smoking with the smokers been higher up so smoke doesn't drift 😋

Very busy pub. Arrived at 6pm on a Friday for dinner. The gourmet chicken was definitely not gourmet! Very standard food. Like most large corporate food establishments. Chicken breast was cooked a long time ago, quite dry! The ‘happy’ waitress did ask if everything was good, I did mention the chicken and she did offer if I wanted my food replacing. Being British I said it was fine. What was the alternative? Another chicken breast cooked 3 days ago? Pale ale is good. Wide choice available. Car park is tiny! Been before when the sun was shining. They have a great outdoor seating area.

We went here for breakfast for my daughters birthday. The prices are really good. I had a Traditional breakfast with added black pudding. It came out in reasonable time and was lovely. They have a full range of sauces and condiments available if wanted. The staff are friendly and the whole place has a wonderful warm feeling to it. The only thing that I didn't like was the coffee, I had an Americana with extra shot but it still came out like weak dish water so think they need to have a relook at the quality of the coffee they buy. Overall though it's a nice place and would visit again if we were in the area.

Have been having some issues over meals and timings over when mains should come after starters but after the last visit they have totally redeemed themselves. Quick service, staff checking if everything was OK, food served quickly even though it was a typical Saturday service and the pub was picked. Ordered a pizza for me with extra toppings and it was topped to within an inch of its life as was my daughters. All of my family said it was the best meal we have had at The Old Unicorn for a while.

Popular and busy pub. Cheap drinks. It's a shame that most of the regular customers have their own keys for the accessible downstairs toilet resulting in disabled people having to wait. Friday tea time is popular with families who tend to come straight from school and allow their children to run around unsupervised. The bar staff are friendly and welcoming and the pub does a lot of charity events.

Good choice on the menu to suit all tastes and budgets enjoyed everything about the pub but it was a typical Wetherspoons where you know what to expect. I would visit again

A large spacious pub with nice decor and a fire pit that is burnes during colder times. Staff are friendly but sometimes some seem a little lost/inexperienced. Although I will give them the benefit of the doubt because they could just be new employees. This Wetherspoon is generally busy and seats can be hard to find on a weekend. All in all, a decent spoons with good customer service.

Just another Wetherspoons, toilets 🚽are upstairs at the furthest point that they could be. There is a small car park 🅿️ but can be hard to navigate if someone parks outside a space or if taxi's see waiting.

A friendly, local feel to the Old Unicorn, similar to the way that all Wetherspoons feel at this point in time. At least you know what you're getting when you pop to Spoons. Vegan options available and certain vegetarian options can be adjusted to cater. Usually quite busy, so get there a little earlier if you'd fancy a table.

Food is hit and miss, some meals on the menu are spot on others are overdone, underdone or stale. The pub itself used to be beautiful and homely when it first opened, it's now hard to find a table that's been cleared and cleaned. Worth a visit for the cheap prices and relatively nice food.

Food came quick, thanks to the lovely lad who helped me and my mother in law get through to the dinning table. She is very hard to get settled as she cannot breath correctly, she was very grateful for the help she got. My mother in law couldn’t thank him enough even left him a £5 tip. Thanks again

This is our local and is always a warm reception. Quite a busy venue gets full quick however they could do with a much bigger car park. People have been known to use the Tesco car park opposite, not sure how long that will last. Staff very friendly, happy to help and will clear a table is needed.

I really like this Wetherspoons as it's never too full and always plenty of staff and room to move about.. It's not squished like other Wetherspoons. The food is great although the puddings tend to be expensive and small in size.... The open firepit in the middle of the pub is lovely and cosy when all lit up. Bit of a hike up a hill if you walking but there is a car park at the top of you are driving. Highly recommended.

We visited here for a breakfast 2 sundays ago first impressions the carpark was very small around 15 to 20 cars very max we had to park on double yellow lines on their access road, On entrance to the dining area the pub was quite busy and a few tables hadn't been cleared but we found a table removed a few glasses then ordered food which came within a reasonable time. If you want a decent sized breakfast ( for the larger gentleman such as myself) then you will need to order extras but the normal brekky was a good size for my teenage son and my wife. All in all a decent meal. Would we use again yes I reckon I would.

Have to confess to being a big Wetherspoon fan and they have done a great job converting, extending and modernising an old pub into an attractive and now popular bar restaurant offering decent fayre and drink at affordable prices . Together with good service they have a winning formula on our doorstep and wherever we go we look for a Wetherspoon pub.

A large, decent dwelling on the hill opposite Bramley centre, it has car parking facilities. It does Pub food & is large inside, was a fantastic, local pub before becoming a Wetherspoon's. The bar staff don't seem bothered about your custom & tend to serve locals before anybody else. Just a typical Wetherspoon's, would only go in for a Catch Up, neither here nor there to be honest.

Not enough parking. It's OK saying Wetherspoons don't have parking but most of their other pubs/hotels are mainly in town centres where there are car parks around. Won't be long before the residents around the Unicorn get fed up of people parking in front of their houses.
