“A new kid on the block!! A must if you are passing Wharfedale or travelling to the airport.. Enjoy” I have visited this public house many times over the past six years. The food was usually mediocre… This time I was blown away. It was a quiet afternoon. I heard about three dishes for £15..(British Tapas) I ordered garlic Mushrooms on toast, (sublime), Tempura Prawn and salad, Nachos and chilli and the expectant glass of Chardonnay. The bar man was working alone, he presented the food with pride which is always good to see. You have to visit this gem near the airport. Parking is in abundance across the road from the public house. The prices are very reasonable, excellent quality food.. Top marks! I may have found a new favourite in Rawdon

Really nice little pub. A nice selection of beers with a couple of craft options. Nice staff. Sunday roast was really good, really nice taste, the meat was well done I’d generally like it more rare but was still really tasty. The 2 courses for £16 is decent value and more than enough food. Have upped to 5 stars after visiting again, the place is so welcoming and the staff really attentive. Lunch was great with the dog.

Excellent service by the young barman, polite, Helpful & nothing too much trouble. The food unfortunately seemed to be straight from freezer to fryer & was therefore pretty average hence only 3 stars. Nice friendly pub, clean & good beer garden. I will go back, just not to eat.

Nice atmospheric pub. Looks like there is no car park but thete is. Opposite side of the road, next to the garage. Had a piripiri burger which was very nice. They have Neck Oil too, one of my favourite beers 🙂

A welcoming pub, service with a smile Our first visit since the pubs contemporary looking refurbishment. On this occasion we ordered food. The wait was slightly longer, as you would expect with decent home cooked food and we weren't disappointed. The service was attentive and a number of dietary requirements were catered for. Superb food service and service. We actually liked it so much, I can see this little establishment becoming a more regular choice for food, definitely the best pub food in the Aireborough area. Free parking available opposite. Wheelchair access limited.

Fantastic food, brilliant service and great prices. We visited today for drinks and a bite to eat in the beer garden. Really warm welcome, great service throughout and brilliant food (burger & sausage sandwich). Really high quality ingredients in our meals at really reasonable prices which, given the wide choice of drinks on offer too, made for a perfect midweek treat. It's been a while since we popped in but after today we'll be visiting more often, that's for sure. Great job, thanks guys. 👍

Turned up with the other half slightly worse for wear...super friendly staff..clean draft Guinness...starters were really fresh and tasty...burgers and steak pie insanely good...go here if you want a full tummy great ale and a very warm atmosphere ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The food here was amazing. We were a party of five (one child) and all ordered something different. Every one of us enjoyed our food, and raved to each other about how good quality the meat was and the veg and sides. The atmosphere is lovely, and it's nice that it's a small venue because it keeps it intimate. Great wine and beer too, and the staff were friendly and smiley despite how super busy it was! We'll definitely come again next time we're in the area.

A little gem of a place. The Princess is a family run, cosy, welcoming pub with a menu to suit all tastes offering truly scrumptious food with first class customer service from all the staff 5 of my friends and I (all ladies of a certain age 😂😂) dined in for Sunday lunch and we were so well looked after, nothing was too much trouble Thank you, you know we will be back for sure 👏🏼 👏🏼

First time at a reborn old favourite. First class Sunday lunch. Someone REALLY knows what they're doing. Homemade patè & Yorkshires. Beef brisket slow cooked maximum flavour. Timothy Taylors, match in Heaven.

Polite staff, freshly prepared food & reasonably priced for the quality. Good atmosphere inside for a small pub. Dog friendly, with plenty of four legged friends present on the day we visited. Guinness was really fresh, good clean taste & fluffy head. Only slight issue we had was the .65p charge for a drop of blackcurrant in one Guinness. Most places don’t charge, and if they do, it’s never as excessive as that.

First time back in a pub after the 2nd lockdown. The Princess has clearly worked really hard to be ready for people returning to them. The beer garden has been kitted out with gezebos, patio heaters and plenty of tables. Food was excellent (with lots of gluten free options). Service was great. Would definitely go back.

Really nice pub, excellent choice of food (good for veggies!) and tasted delicious. We'll definitely be back. Just an update, went back and they have decreased their portion sizes for the same price, bit disappointing really. When asked why I was only get half the size of pudding I had last time I was informed it was because it had become more popular. That's not really how supply and demand works, but ok. Reduced to 3 stars now.

Visited as a large group for Sunday lunch, we weren't disappointed! Service was excellent including games for the kids and treats for the dog. Food was outstanding and great value. Good selection of drinks too. As a former Woolpack regular I have to say it's much better here!

Recently refurbished pub. Good selection of beers on tap and the usual lagers, ciders etc. The ambience was very good bur the pub was all but empty on a Saturday teatime. Didn't eat but the menu and food has a good reputation.

Great pub. Staff are always friendly, accomodating and welcome, even when it's busy. Best thing about it, as someone who loves the taste of beer but has cut out alcohol; Heinken 0.0% on tap and a great selection of non-alcoholic options. Not to mention plenty of good lagers and beers on tap for those who fancy the real thing.

Called in for a quick pint at the near end of a local walk . They have done a really great job of their refurbishment. It still smells of paint at the moment but when this goes the menu for food and wine looks very appealing for all . Will have to give it a go . Ps the pint was lovely

Went at lunch, it felt really unorganised, like they had just walked in. They took our order and we said we would pay then to speed it up as were had to be back to work. She left the order sitting at the end of the bar. It took her ages to sort the payment. She said we could pre order. How ever they do not have a online menu, she said it was on facebook, but what is on there is old and what I wanted was not even on the menu now. When the food came it was really nice, but we only had 10 mins to eat it. So didn't enjoy it one bit.

The Princess is a cosy traditional pub serving a good selection of beers. There is no food available but you can order your own takeaway and they will provide plates and cutlery. Friendly staff and a welcoming pub. Dogs and kids welcome.
